Edited to 5 stars for the amazing customer service from the seller who promptly shipped out replacement parts after they reached out to me regarding the review and pictures (at the same time my husband sent them an email). Excellent and professional! This pergola was ordered in anticipation of our spa being installed. It arrived in several very large boxes. Unfortunately there was hidden damage to parts like dents and dings to posts and bent covers that looked like it was done during manufacturing and packing. All in all the pergola looks great and installation was time consuming but easy (I did most of it myself with some help from my 12-year-old). There unfortunately were some missing parts like spacers for the roof slats and a corner bracket that strengthens the corner. This is unfortunate particularly since these are parts that I can't just pick up at my local hardware store. For a product priced like this, I would have expected better packing and care in packaging the product so, for this I am disappointed and ultimately the reason for the 3 stars. There are some aesthetic items that I believe missed the mark like a finished ring on the bottom of the posts to hide the screws and plastic hangers for the shades that may not last, but time will tell. As there are no magnets at the bottom of the curtains to keep them from billowing when the wind blows, I am a bit concerned how long they will last before ripping but I am going to see if I can find something after market to add. Until the first rainstorm it goes through (next week) I am unsure of the leakage but considering the missing parts, it may be an issue. I believe, had it not been for the dented beams and missing parts, this would be a great value, if you order this item without those issues, you should be very pleased. As a general contractor and homeowner, I am less so.

Fantastic pergola. Built it in about 6 hours with one other person, and everything fit together solidly. The louvers adjust smoothly, the curtains and netting add great versatility, and the overall structure feels premium and sturdy. A few louvers arrived damaged, but Cherry from customer service was outstanding and sent replacements immediately. Now that it’s fully set up, it looks incredible and works exactly as advertised. Very happy with this purchase.

There were no instructions included bout an email through Amazon they were in my email the next morning. It was really easy to put together and to my amazement it all fit very well. Pergola is a very nice addition to my yard. The company was very responsive to replace a few damaged top panels. Their support person Cherry to care of the replacement personally. I would recommend it to anyone who thinks they would like something like this.
