Came packaged good and pre assembled. Seems like good quality in materials and assembly. Sounds clean and has the perfect amount of bass for me. I actually had to turn it down a little bit because my lights were dimming on every hit. Pretty easy to install. I much prefer the all in one units compared to having a separate amplifier. Gives a much cleaner look. You will need a wiring kit, I got the 500w kit from Walmart which has been working perfectly. Only problem I had was the remote gain knob wire was just a little short for where I wanted. I solved this by using a 3.5mm extention. Solid bass compact size yet a nice deep bass the subwoofer is handling heavy drops no problem decent excursion from the sub its self, while the 1400 rating may be peak even if its 400 to 500 rms actual its a solid package for it. Also if you toss this in your daily and you constantly having things in the truck the grill this has can help keep things away should something slide around during a drive. The led feature is neat but if its in the trunk the only time youll see it is if you have a fold down rear seat or you drive a truck and you put this behind you. Overall its a nice all in one kit, so far it has not failed me and I look forward to seeing what longevity this has. As so far I have seen the amp go out on similar offerings. Will update this should the sub or amp die. For now its a solid upgrade with everything you need to get going out of the box. ... show more

I ordered this to enhance the sound system in my family van. With ample space in my vehicle, I aimed to improve my sound quality with this subwoofer. In my opinion, its quality is above average. Instead of paying a premium for well known brands for similar performance, I would recommend this. My vehicle already has LED lights, so I didn't necessarily need the LED lights on this sub, but it's not a problem for me. It's all right for a very simple subwoofer install if you want things compact. Tuning is easy, installation is easy as well as it hooks up the same way as any amplifier and sub does. Interesting was able to get it to pound fairly decently at highs and lows. It's a good option if you are looking to just get more bass in a stock system. This 12-Inch Car Subwoofer is a really nice subwoofer that looks really cool setup. It’s got a nice deep bass that is surprising for its size. It also seems to be made really well. I especially like the rubbery material around the sub itself. I don’t expect it to crack anytime soon, because it is very flexible. The fuse is easily accessed in case you happen to blow it. The media could not be loaded. While that title may seem a bit cheesy this sub actually does it's freaking job! Unlike that 10in under the seat dumpster fire that this company sells. Quality control, ON MINE- was neglected but, that doesn't mean yours will be. In all honesty this would've been five stars if it wasn't for the poor quality control and the fact that you can't remove the subwoofer without dismantling the entire front of the box. If you want something that actually works and will add very noticeable low end then by all means go for this! It was better than those under the seat trash heaps. There i stated it. Pretty decent for the price. Not a fan of the LEDs but they also dont hurt anything. Fairly sizeable box which is appreciated, most budget all-in-one powered subs go for a tiny box, which hurts output and often SQ since most subs, especially larger ones, just dont work quite as well in a small box. Also REALLY appreciate the grill. I am always paranoid of something rubbing up against the cone or surround on my subs after having already had a bad experience with that in a previous setup.. ... show more
