I didn't expect much from this little chainsaw, but it rips. I purchased it to cut some large 10-12" logs into smaller pieces for firewood and it has been handling the task just fine. There are definitely some things that aren't great about it, but let's be honest, we're talking about a knock off power tool for well under $100. Set your expectations accordingly. First off, build quality is surprisingly great! It feels like I'm holding any one of my DeWalt tools. It comes with three chains that are sharp and cut well. The tool feels comfortable to use for long periods of time and is easy to operate, even with one hand. It does require chain oil, which is not included, but you can pick up a quart at any hardware store for $5-$8. Assembly is very confusing due to the awful instructions. Once you figure it out the first time, it makes perfect sense and becomes super easy to take apart and put back together. The case is very thin and cheap, and will absolutely crack the first time it hits the ground or gets crushed. The tool takes chain oil, but seems to go through a LOT of oil. I have to fill up the reservoir every few cuts. The kickback guard is useless but you don't really need it because the tool stops instantly when you let go of the trigger, just like a drill. It also goes through 5Ah batteries like crazy, which isn't unusual for a tool like this, so if you're cutting a lot you will definitely need 3-4 batteries on rotation. Finally, the little motor gets very hot if you're cutting a lot, so make sure you give the tool a break in between multiple cuts to avoid burning out the motor. This is my only long-term concern. Overall, it's a great tool and I would definitely recommend it for the price.

Better than what I thought it would be, great surprise to see how well it worked and how long it will go on one battery charge. Came with two extra blades, very simple and strong tool. I would recommend it to anyone.

First of all, the instructions are in such broken English they are largely unreadable. It will take a very smart, mechanically inclined person to figure out how to assemble this product. But the problem is that a small pin that must align with a hole in the chain support cannot be made to align. As a result the casing cannot be snapped in place. After an hour of wrestling with it, I had to give up. It appears to be a nice piece of equipment, but the manufacturer needs to figure a better way to assemble the unit for use. I've returned it and ordered a genuine Dewalt chainsaw for over twice the price.

This a great little saw.. very light and easy to use. Please use with maximum attention to proper full size gas saws. It's very easy to just use one hand, this is not safe. For little saw it is very powerful, "Without any bar/chain breaks. I have used it for about a month, with no issues other than the fact that keeping your chain tension properly adjusted, and having to messing with the side plate. Also I was given the best advice.. cut for a short time and alow the electric motor cool down,,Remember it is a fair size motor and gets pretty warm. They also recommend 7AH batteries
