We love our unit! Best part is, it’s lockable! We didn’t realize this during the purchase and thought we need to add toddler locks. There was minor assembly required (needed to put on the handles and feet). Besides that, it was good to go. There was a minor ding in the back, but we were placing it into the niche, so it’s not visible at all. The noise level is minimal and it maintains the temperature. Impressed so far! Refrigerator looks great, feels well-built, and fits perfectly under our kitchen counter! We had a widely known name-brand refrigerator previously that sold for 6 times the price we paid for this one, and the look and feel of this ORYMUSE unit is just as nice! Very pleased. We were worried that this might feel cheap, but it does not - The door has good weight and feels nice and solid. There was some shipping damage - looks like the box was dropped & one of the back corners of the refrigerator is bent/dented, but the unit is working perfectly. The damage is on the back side and hidden by our cabinets, so as long as it keeps working, we're happy! ... show more

    • A Physically Damaging and Mentally Confusing Installation Experience...

Here is a copy of the message I sent to the manufacturer, will update with results once they reply. Hi ORYMUSE Team... I opened and setup my mini fridge this evening with the help of a friend and I'm a bit confused with the final result. We took it out of the package and set it on the floor, opened and and reviewed the instructions, and proceeded to move it into the bar cabinet where it was to reside. As soon as I moved it from where we initially placed it on the floor after unboxing, I could see it had already left significant scratches on my my hardwood flooring where we positioned it. Upon tipping it to it's side to look underneath, we see that there are only leveling feet at the front end, and the back area simply consists of a sharp-cornered metal bar which runs the width of the back-end. It is these unprotected sharp corners that immediately damaged my floor - And I have to ask, why is there no protection here? So now that we know that the fridge cannot touch the floor again or it will otherwise continue to ruin it, I apply some adhesive felt pads to protect the sharp metal corners so we can continue to move it. Except the fridge is also obviously not level - Apparently the front feet must accommodate for the door hinge clearance, and so even when at their shortest, the fridge still pitches at a backwards angle due to there being no evident place to install the second pair of leveling feet at the back. In fact, I have no idea why the fridge came with a second pair of feet in the instruction bag when there are only sockets for the front end which already came installed. I have to say I'm not thrilled - I now have significant scratches on my hardwood floor, and a mini fridge that pitches to the rear because there is no apparent way to level the back of the fridge to be equal to the front feet. Am I missing something? Is this how the unboxing is intended? Please let me know if there is some intended way to level the fridge, and if you have any thoughts on the damage done to my flooring. At the very least, an in-box warning to not place the fridge on any unprotected surface due to the sharp metal underneath would be hugely beneficial so that customers don't immediately damage their floors.
