The item comes packaged well. I would suggest taking of the placement of all the accessories before removing all the parts, so you know where all the parts go back when putting away for storage. The functionality of the chainsaw is very efficient and easy to use. The package comes with replacement chains. Adjusting the chain is very easy with the knob they have on the machine. That is made of durable quality and relatively lightweight for the size and power of the machine. The chainsaw is not extremely loud when compared to gas powered chainsaws.

Bought for my wife to trim a few twigs and bushes around the yard. We have used it on the farm to cut saplings and limbs away from fence lines. Most recently when the big saw wouldn’t crank, I cut an 8” diameter tree that was leaning over the driveway. Chains last well, batteries last fairly well but take a long time to recharge. Overall, this little inexpensive saw is very impressive and handy to keep in the toolbox in the four wheeler!

The saw works great, I used it on a large tree limb that broke off in a storm. I have three other chainsaws, an 18” and 14” gas powered and a 12” battery powered. The 12” gets the most use of any of them, my son borrows it often. My only complaint with the Dehan, is that the batteries charge slowly and a lot of time is spent charging two batteries, also getting spares is another question mark, but at such a low price it was worth buying. The power readout on the saw is a great feature, I started at 90%, and when I got done with the tree limb it read 30%. Looking forward to getting plenty of use with this saw.

This saw works well for average jobs. Of course it's not as powerful as a gas powered but it easily handled 4 and 5 inch thick limbs. It's convenient when you only need to use it for a for a short amount of time. I will be using it ofter for quick jobs and the chain tensioning system is nice, no tools needed.

The chain lube has not worked since I bought it. I have to manually put oil on the chain. It is also very noisy for a small item. It does cut well.

This little 8 inch chainsaw is perfect for small jobs. I am not comfortable handling a full size chainsaw, but still need to trim bushes and small trees around my house. This chainsaw is easy to handle and manages anything that I need to cut easily. It is lightweight and has 2 batteries, so there is always a back up. I wasn't sure what to expect of such a small chainsaw, but it works great and I feel safe using it.

User-Friendly, Powerful, and Backed by World-Class Service I purchased this 12-inch brushless chainsaw primarily for kight-duty yard work—trimming large ornamental trees and cutting down smaller diameter deadwood. Overall, it’s a fantastic piece of equipment that provides power without the hassle of gas. I'm docking one star simply because nothing is ever perfect, but this saw comes incredibly close. The assembly was surprisingly easy. Often, tools like this come with cryptic instructions, but this chainsaw was practically ready to go. I had the bar and chain attached, tensioned, and oiled in about 10 minutes flat. It's incredibly intuitive, making it painless to get straight to work, even for a beginner. The battery life is excellent thanks to the two included 4.0Ah batteries. For standard pruning and light cutting (up to 4 inches), I can usually get an hour or more of solid use out of the pair. When tackling thicker, dense wood (8+ inches), the batteries hold up better than expected, giving me sufficient runtime to complete my task list before needing a charge. The efficiency of the 1000W brushless motor seems to really make the difference here. Most impressively, the customer service is world-class. I had a small question about chain installation, and they responded to my inquiry with detailed, helpful advice. That level of responsiveness and care is rare and truly makes a difference. If you’re looking for a dependable, lightweight, and powerful cordless saw that is actually supported by a great team, this is the one to get.
