ok, first off, Im not going to lie, I had serious reservations about buying this as Ive never heard of the company. but reading reviews here on amazon and other places across the net gave me the confidence to go through and all I can say is this has surpassed my expectations by a significant margin. for the asking price in comparison to other comparable units, this is very much worth it. we are using this to cool an entire 2 bed/2 bath house, it is quite a bit more sq ft than this unit is rated for. however, I have it paired with a dryer blower fan pushing it rom 1 side of the home to the other. it is keeping the opposite side of the house in the middle of our super hot (95* already) SFL days a cool 82* with the unit set at 78* thermostat (if we turn temp lower than that the main room where the unit is becomes uncomfortably cold) I have no idea on longevity of the unit, we are only using this until we can afford to purchase a new central AC unit for the home. just know that as of right now, this unit is surpassing my expectations greatly.

I ordered this unit because I live in an older apartment building where the windows open side to side and a window unit just would not work for my building. I am so happy that I ordered this. It does an excellent job of keeping my entire apartment cool. It’s basically maintenance free. It’s about the size of a kitchen garbage can. Hooking up the hose for the first time did take me a few minutes, but I was able to figure it out and once it was in, I never had to mess with it again. It’s fairly quiet and mostly sounds like white noise when running. I love the flexibility of being able to move the unit from room to room if necessary. However, like I said, it doesn’t excellent job of cooling down my entire apartment and I have not had to move it yet. I wanted to wait a while before posting this review. But I’ve owned it now for almost a year and I’m still very happy with the purchase. I highly recommend.

It's taken me awhile to actually use this unit as I bought it as back up. I live in 500 sq ft. I have a wall unit in the bedroom. I hooked this unit up in the living room. It's Amazing. Much better than my wall unit. I can cool the whole condo with this unit better. Turned my wall unit off. Lol I live just north of Tampa, FL. Temps right now in the mid 90's with Heat index in the upper 90's. My condo is 77 degrees. I love this unit. Checked my power usage and it's actually lower than using my wall unit.

When this product arrived the box was HEAVILY damaged. The box was crushed on one side and there were heavy amounts of packaging tape around the crushed side of the box, and around the bottom of the box. We brought the box inside and it sat for about 2 weeks before I was able to open it up. Upon opening the box I noticed the unit was damaged. One of the panels on the top of the unit had popped loose and broke of the the tabs snapping it into place. I was able to get the unit out and inspect for further damage and did not find any. It also came with a installation kit for the window/ venting tube. This "kit" came with panels for the window and foam for the window as well. The wingnut was missing, with attaches that panels together. I will have to find my own sliding butterfly bolt in order to install these panels. I looked extensively for any signs of small packaging within the box to make sure nothing was missed. I found a single AAA battery that was stuck to all the tape on the bottom of the box. The remote was in an individual wrapping. The remote requires 2 AAA batteries. There was no other packaging for any small products IE batteries, wingnuts, etc. within the box. I haven't even been able to test to make sure that the unit works properly due to not having all the components within the box. I will change to a 2 star if the unit works but I would be prepared to not have all of the components within the box itself if you purchase this unit.

There are a few parts the customer will need to install. (the air flow tubes) Everything went together in a few minutes. When it comes to the actual use of this air conditioner, I'm impressed . It's very quiet! And it pumps out a lot of cold air. It has a setting for the air vent on the top to move up and down to better ventilate the cold air around the room. It also has a "fan only" setting, and a dehumidifier setting. Each setting has 3 fan speeds. I can totally recommend this air conditioner without hesitation. It's going to get a lot of use in my home this summer.

From the moment it arrived, I was impressed by how straightforward the entire process was. The setup was super easy and took no time at all. The instructions were clear and concise, and I had it up and running in what felt like minutes. No complicated steps or tools required! More importantly, this unit cools incredibly well!
