Bought this to cool my office space since the thermostat broke and really glad that I did. It set up in the window with the slide bar very easily and was basically plug and play. There was immediately cold air and so far on day two is working well. Just make sure to seal off your room so that the cool air stays in the room. The price was very competitive. The unit is large and heavy so be careful hauling it around. I would purchase this again. Time will tell how it does. ... show more

I got this for a smaller space. My living room and front bedroom area. It cools down quickly. The timer works to turn it off when it’s on but also turns it on at a certain time. Great when I go to the office at work and don’t need it to be running all day. I leave for work and set the time for it to turn on about an hour before the hottest part of the day. I come home to a cool house. So easy to install. I actually had to trim the plastic sleeve that fits in the window because it sits horizontally and not vertically. Was able to score the plastic with a box cutter and snap the bit off that I didn’t need. When the machine is on, it regulates the room temp and turns on the “cool” once it’s calculated. Also the vent is mechanical so it moves up and down automatically and it fully self-closes when the machine is off. Would def recommend this product to anyone I know. ... show more

This product is actually great, I get so worried about buying electronics online but it surprised me! The packaging is very sturdy it won’t get damaged in transit. I was surprised how easy it was to unbox for such a heavy item! The bottom is separate from the rest of the box so you can just slide it right off instead of having to lift the box out. The manual and instructions are very easy to understand, I had no issues assembling this and getting it started. I hooked it up and made sure everything worked as expected. This unit works incredibly fast! I am also relieved at how quiet it is. I’m so glad I was able to find this just in time for summer. I bought this AC b/c I needed a HAVC. The quality is amazing!! I used it for my bedroom during hot nights and it keeps it cool with almost zero noise. Incredibly easy to operate and set it up with the pipe that vents air outside when you use the dehumidifier for better air circulation. This is my first portable AC and so far it works great.
