  • Bright Purple Bulbs
Color: Purple
Reviewing the Ranunculus Bulbs. This was supposed to be a ten pack, but mine have twelve! That’s a much appreciated little bonus. The bulbs look like tiny dried octopuses- they aren’t rounded like a big tulip or daffodil bulb. I don’t have any ranunculus in my garden. These will offer a big splash of bright, rich purple color when they bloom. They make excellent cut flowers. They bloom every year and spread naturally, although kind of slowly. I’ll put them in a sheltered spot in full sun. Ideally, I’d plant these in the fall for a spring bloom. Unfortunately-It is past autumn and not yet spring season. In other words, it’s winter. I live in the southwest USA, so our winter weather is mild and, hopefully involves some rain. I think I’ll just go ahead and get these in the ground and hope that they bloom in the spring. ... show more
