My thanks to New Balance for such great shoes. Here's my rant about the "progress" of sports shoes in the last few years: Almost all sports shoes are now being made mostly out of the new MESH fabric, I guess because it's lighter (and cheaper for the makers to make?), but that's the opposite of what most feet want. Feet need support. That means heavier, stronger, thicker material all around the sides. New Balance 623's are one of very few shoes you can get these days that are still made out of strong leather, instead of the very flimsy, not-supportive mesh. Thank you, New Balance! ... show more

Fit so Good , I bought another pair immediately. Good Quality fitting sneaks are hard to find nowadays. Especially at this Price! $59.! Was issued a pair of these at Paris Island USMC Boot. Beat the Living Stuffing out of them literally, for 3 months throughout BootCamp and the PIT, they then lasted for 6 years after as daily gym workout and runner sneaks. No problems just wasn't in a shoe box. No papers are labels just a prime box with tape on it. They seem to be fine and the size is on them. He hasn't been able to try them on yet , i am sure they will work.
