This Imperijade bunkie board is a product that I wish I had a little more time with before writing a final opinion, because right now it feels like a solid four star product with the potential to move up or down depending on how it performs long term. One of my biggest hesitations is the price because this isn't exactly an inexpensive purchase, and some of the claims need more time to evaluate properly. For example, I'm not completely sold on the noise minimizing aspect. Maybe it helps and maybe I'll notice more benefits over time, but I haven't reached the point where I'm confidently saying it transformed the sleeping experience. What I can say is that it definitely distributes weight well and seems to provide consistent support under the mattress. One unexpected benefit is that my king mattress is fairly new and incredibly heavy, and this smoother surface makes rotating the mattress much easier compared to rougher box spring topper materials that tend to grip. Anyone who has rotated a large mattress knows what that feels like. The overall construction appears solid, and so far I'm happy with it. I just wanted more time before I fully judged it, but my initial experience has been positive overall.

Item: Imperijade 10mm Bunkie Board (60”x76” Queen Size) This box spring replacement works great! I get that it's kind of made for sleeper couches, however I'm using it on my standard queen frame. I put it underneath my memory foam mattress on top of the support bars that are about a foot apart each. After adding this, my mattress has a lot more stability and less bumps that I can feel. It really does make a big difference. I can tell that my mattress will last longer as it will not be forced to bend between support slats. it was incredibly easy to install. All I did was slide my mattress off of the frame, flatten out the two sets of boards and then put the mattress back on top. It did have a fairly strong chemical smell as I'm sure it was packaged shortly after production and sealed. Before I put it on my bed I left it spread open leaning up against a wall for a few days to degas. This allowed the fumes to exit the material. However it did make my room smell strong of chemicals so I did open a window for a while. Overall, it is well made and has a washable cover though I don't think I'll ever need to wash it. It fits perfectly on my queen size bed and will last the lifetime of my bed frame. This is the second one I have of these for my second spare room. I would have no problem buying these again. They really do make your mattresses last longer!

These work great on a bed that has a foam-only mattress on it. This keeps the mattress from bulging down between the slats, causing hard spots for the sleeper. These are heavy, thick, and work very well. They should stand up to a lot of weight. I got the full size version for a full size bed, and for the price, I'm I'm torn. They are packaged inside these black fabric covers, and are 1/4" thick wood inside. For the price of 1/4" wood, you could do this cheaper on your own, but the black covers are waterproof (according to the sales page), so if you spill something on them, or something else liquid gets on them, you're covered. The covers would also alleviate any damage to the mattress if you were just using plywood under it. My guess, based on the weight of these, is that they are made of 1/4" MDF, would is strong, but heavy, but also fairly inexpensive. All that said, if you're into DIY, you could do something like this on your own for much cheaper, but if you were that into DIY, you likely wouldn't be shopping for these, anyway. Overall, these are good for what they are, but are a bit overpriced for what you're getting.
