I ordered a new mattress and the bunkie board is doing it's job so far. I have no issues yet. I ordered a queen size close to my old antique bed frame of 60.5 by 80 and it fits perfectly! The quality is great! It is a tad heavy, so I required help. Although the bunkie board in the picture is black, I received a bright dodger blue color. I wished it would have came in black instead. So 4 stars because it came in blue and not black. I paid $108 and some change so not too bad.

These are no joke! I got the king size version for my bed. It weighs a lot! For a king size version, it has two sets of four panels. One set covers the top half of the bed and the second set covers the bottom half of the bed. The panels are made of MDF Wood and are very dense. Each set of four is covered in a blue sleeve. This sleeve has texture on the outside of it to grip whatever it comes in contact with. It has a zipper along one end so that you can remove the panels and wash the cover if needed. About the only thing I did not like about this set is that it does have a strong smell. It's a odd chemical smell and seems to be in the cover. As with most things shipped overseas like this, They most likely tell you to let it air out for a few days so that the chemicals disperse. If the smell does not go away, you can remove the boards and wash the case in your washing machine. Once installed, It provides a firm base for your mattress. I noticed right away that my Purple mattress feels a lot better with a solid base under it rather than the somewhat close rails of my bed frame. I wouldn't say that this is a game changer but I'm sure it is going to extend the life of my mattress since it will have more support. At around $120, it's not a cheap addition. However, it will prolong the life of your mattress therefore saving you money in the long run. Not to mention making every night feel a little bit better. Overall, this met my expectations perfectly. Other than the smell, everything about this just works. Even with the slightly expensive price, I would get something like this for any other beds I may have. It works great.

We decided to try out this bunkie board for our metal slat bed, the metal slat bed and mattress we currently own are both cheaper online options and paired together have been making it a bit so great experience to sleep on our bed at night. So I wanted to see if this could make a difference. To begin, these are boards in like a fabric mesh that are connected in row to fit the length of a twin sized bed. Being that this is for a king size there are two as a set since a king bed is the size of two twins. They lay out easily across the metal slats. They have little grip dots to keep them in place from sliding around and it definitely works. It being boards means it's strong and creates a solid barrier for the mattress to sit on so it doesn't sag anymore. And the mattress does not sag anymore which is huge because it was trying to squeeze through every opening it could find making it extraordinarily uncomfortable. With these it keeps it upright and straight so we can finally get some ok sleep until we can replace this awful mattress. These didn't have really any smell out of the box, they are heavy as themselves but can be manuevered by most people. They support the mattress as they should. The cost is too high however, these are just simply wood boards wrapped in a fabric, the price feels a little overwhelmingly steep for what it is.

I recently bought the Imperijade Bunkie Board in Full size (54”x75”), and it has made a huge difference in the comfort and stability of my bed. If you have a mattress that feels like it’s sinking, or if you can feel the hard slats or metal frame underneath, you need one of these! Instant Comfort Boost I was using it on an older bed frame where the slats weren't quite doing the job, and the mattress felt lumpy and unsupported. As soon as I put this board down, the mattress felt firm and even. It truly transformed the support surface—no more feeling those uncomfortable metal bars!
