I read several reviews where folks are struggling to insert the rubber pads / bumpers. There's a trick to it, and it's relatively easy once you figure it out. If you feel the need to cut the rubber or enlarge the holes, you're doing it wrong and should stop and rethink. A medium flat blade screwdriver is indeed needed, but if used correctly you are pushing down and away from yourself and there's no stabbing possibility. You don't pull the tab through and you don't fold it forward toward the hole to get it through. You hook the long flap into the hole first and then push the short flap down flat while working it through the hole, starting at one end and working along the length to the other end. I can't describe it any better and had no way to film it, but it's not hard once you figure out the trick. The entire installation took 20 minutes including figuring out the bumpers, the hardest part was peeling off the protective film post-installation. It would be much easier to remove the film first, but I didn't want any scratches and was working by myself. The windshield is solid and does not flex or rattle even on gravel roads. The "glass" is considerably thicker than the original 2001 windshield being replaced. Having an actual hinge instead of an opaque rubber strip to wear out and crack should be much better over time as well. I'm extremely happy with my purchase, and would buy again.

The bottom half oblong hole where you have to push in the rubber bumpers is too small, they will not go in. Most of the other brands have the bumpers attached, using some type of expoxy. After contacting the manufacture, one of their recommendations was to cut the bumper. One should never have to ruin a piece to make it fit. They recommenced using a utility knife to cut it. Very Dangerous if you don't have construction experience skills. Another problem is you have to push them in with a flat blade screw diver. Another dangerous recommendation, if the screw driver should slip it could bounce back striking the person. When it slips and it will, you end up scratching the windshield. Ask me how I know. Luckily it is a small scratch.

The quality of the actual plastic is great. The fit is very good. The issue is that the notches for the lower rubber bushings are missing so the windshield sits too high and can not be properly installed. I had the ability to machine the notches so I did not have to return it. I assume they are all missing the same notches.
