I bought this product and was having problems downloading filed to my computer. I sent an email to customer service and they told me I need to take out the SD card and itsert it into the card reader which I must have misplaced without knowing. They apologized, offered to send me another dashcam with the card reader which I received shortly after our conversation. I am now able to download and review dashcam files I captured while driving. The quality of the video is excellent and the dashcam works well. I am very pleased with the product, customer service, video quality and happily give 5 stars and recommend this dashcam.

It's a good little dash cam. It's front-facing only. It doesn't have a touchscreen, so you must use the side buttons to navigate. It may take a little effort to learn, but overall, it's easy to use.

For the price the camera is hard to beat. It is a good beginners camera for me. I had purchased another more expensive one but returned it once I found out it did not work with Apple Play. Now this one does not either but it does not have GPS either. Setup was quick but the manual is poor. Thanks to some good folks who posted videos on Amazon I finally figured out all my issues. Interesting that one of the customer videos shows a manual which is totally different from the one I got in May 2024.

Been using this for about 3 months now, and it is working great. It seems to record in short clips that overlap slightly. I was exploring the clips and found a few that did not record properly, out of the thousands on clips on the card. It records new files until full, then appears to record over the old ones. I have used two different micro SD cards in it, just to see if they work ok, and everything was fine. The card that came with the unit is back in the camera now, and still working as it should. The power cord is long enough that I was able to rout it along the top of the windshield to the column, down the doorframe to under the dash and rout it back to the center where the 12v access was located with plenty of slack. I used a Velcro tie to hold the extra wire out of the way under the dash. I frankly did not expect much from such an inexpensive unit, but I am impressed with what I got.

I received and installed my first Diamond Lark Dash Camera on March 8,2024. No issues at all . Installed and set up was easy. Great user manual also supplied. However, dash can stop recording in June 2024. I notified the Diamond Lark Company vie email. They responded within 24 hours and sent me a new complete replacement Dash Camera in just 3 days I received it. Their email communication is extremely prompt and support their warranty with any issue. New Dash Camera they sent works fine. I am proud to say that there are companies like Diamond Lark that still back their warranty and customer satisfaction. They were great to do business with. I recommend them .5 stars from me.

I tested and checked this camera multiple times before I permanently mounted it in my car. When I witnessed a very serious accident, I pulled over and told the victim that I could give them my dashcam footage. Got home, went to check the memory card, it only had 3 minutes worth of footage from the night before! And the rest of the card was "locked" and full of "other storage", which I assume was THE REST OF THE VIDEOS THAT I COULD NOT ACCESS. Fine, at least it wasn't MY car accident. Bought a new memory card and double checked my camera's settings. I left for a trip for 3 weeks, and I came back to a DEAD CAR BATTERY. The camera just kept on recording when that function IS DISABLED. My car is only 3 years old, I can't believe this piece of garbage drained all the battery, $1000 down the drain. TLDR: This camera is dysfunctional and cannot be used. Don't skimp out on a quality camera because this one will NOT help you when you need it and will cost you a lot more in the long run.

So far, easy to install. Clear picture. The only issue I have is that the field of view is NOT 170 degrees. It is closer to 120. Much narrower than the camera U replaced that finally failed. Shock protection is a nice feature. But the narrow field of vision seems like the camera could miss important info if I ever find myself in an accident and needing video.

This was definitely worth it. It's affordable and picture quality is good. It helped me after an accident I had and the customer service was great when I had lost the mount due to the accident! Just make sure you read the manual and learn it before using it so you're aware how to get to the video easier if someone needs to see it. Highly recommend for an affordable dash cam.
