this fan works wonderfully. It will hold a charge overnight on medium and continually run. The light is very bright. One thing to note that the solar panel has to be in direct sunlight for it to get a full charge but can be charged by a USB-C in your cigarette outlet and works wonderful. It isn't to loud and creats a nice cooling breeze. I used this in my green house when it got to hot, but wasn't warm enough to transplant my tomato and pepper plants into the garden. I had been looking for solutions to help cool down my chickens and goat barn during the hot summer months here in Texas, especially when there's no wind to keep air circulating. I also do not want to run electric to my coops/barn. I read a LOT of reviews for various products but liked this one for the features and it did not disappoint.     • Charging isn't great
I got this as an outside fan to use at events where I have a tent to sell at. I had to use it before that event and thought it wouldn't be that big of a deal; the solar panel would charge it at the event. I was extremely wrong. I had a direct line of sun for the entire event, had the panel facing the sun for the entire event, and had it set up to supposedly charge with the green light indicating it was supposed to be charging for the entire event. In the process of 8 hours, it never charged past 50%. I would love to say that this is a great product, especially because when it does have charge it works great, the fan is nice and strong as needed, however the charging system is just awful. ... show more

The concept is great but it's very much on the weaker side. The solar panel portion itself it very impressive as you can connect a USB to iphone or something to charge it up. I wouldn't mind picking up just that part although its a bit soft and would need more care what packing for a trip. The light button is tucked between the fan and the base to you have to tilt the fan to get to the switch so I would recommend that be paced more to the outside or the front of the unit and with a flip switch instead of a press switch. It would be easier that way to find when its dark. I'm a little bummed to have to return it. The Fan switch is a variable switch that would be nice to have detents to specify levels. You really have to sort of more work at getting it to be the right speed and the gain is almost exponential instead of just doing a low, medium and high. ... show more
