For the price-point, these lights (100 strand) are a great addition for one's home/deck/trees/whatever... Regarding the deck photo: the lighting is greater than what the strand produces because of lights inside the house. Here are some notes to maybe help anyone thinking about buying these: * The received set were pretty much exactly we wanted and certainly add to the fun deck/porch ambience -- * Four levels of brightness (or dimness?). * Like many light-strings out there, these aren't for fully illuminating an area but for example, do well enough at night to illuminate food you're eating. * Bulbs are small. Globe diameter around each LED lamp is 1-1/2 inches and as such, could certainly be draped on trees; photo posted as size reference. * Remote will need two AAA batteries (not included in box). * There are seven pre-programmed modes: steady warm white or steady mixed colors, breathing/pulsing and flashing effects, and combinations of each. * They do not have a "chase" mode nor can they be user-programmed to do anything else (e.g., all lights be blue). * The timer mode is auto-shutoff after six hours then off for 18 hrs, then back on; timer cannot be programmed for other durations. * Included instructions are simple. * Power cord from 110V US A/C plug to connection for the light-string is 10-feet. * Round "hooks" on top are just wide enough to accommodate 1/4-inch steel rope/cable. * Budget 5-10 minutes to unwind/untangle the string after removing it from box. # # #

The media could not be loaded. These RGB/Warm white string lights from Partphoner have a very unique look to them. The clear G40 bulbs have a very attractive faceted cylinder around the LED inside, which gives the whole string a sort of twinkling effect. They are different than any other string lights I have owned. When I initially took these out of the box and plugged them in I was a little concerned about these being bright enough for my purposes (mostly because it was daylight when I first looked at them lit) but I've found them to be plenty bright. The bulbs are approximately 1.5" in diameter, and are spaced about 22" apart. The plug lead is about 12 feet in length to the first bulb. There are 7 modes accessible on the remote or the button on the plug, plus "AUTO" which just defaults back to mode #1, warm white. There are also two buttons on the remote to adjust the brightness (denoted as DIM+ and DIM-) up and down. One thing to note when using the remote in modes M1 and M2 the DIM buttons adjust brightness, while in modes M3-M7 the DIM buttons adjust speed and brightness is unaffected. These lights are attractive enough, and there are just a few functions so the remote is very straightforward (and thank goodness there is no app to download). My only concern with this set of lights is the thickness of the wire. It is much thinner than other light sets I own, or I should say it is probably the same gauge of wire, but does not have the thick outer sheathing that most other lights I own have. For that reason I question the overall durability to withstand handling and the elements. Overall I think this light set is very nice, and I think for the length and price it is a fairly good value.

They are very long and provided a good amount of coverage. They changed the vibe for my whole porch area and made it immediately better and made it more pleasant to be in. I love this purchase.

The lights are nice. The non-glass aspect is something you have to get used to. I think the color would be much more beautiful if it was glass. The wire is pretty cheap but if your not rough then it'll be fine. If your tight on cash, it's worth it.
