I've bought multiple of these now. Get the size length you need for your space. These hoses expanded to what you need when you need it, but then shrink down when you don't. These are great because they don't hold water. Living in colder climate I had regular hoses freeze in the winter and break! Since then I've switched to these and they are better for all seasons! Get the length you need without the clutter of it all when you don't. Also very lightweight! Came with a free nozzle with many settings. Not the most heavy duty, but so far works perfect without leaks.

I wanted to replace our heavy gardenhose with something more light, and this one definitely fits the bill. It's the stretch as it waters, so after you deplete the water it shrinks back. A space saver and much better for me to lug around the yard.

My first opened the package I’m like wow everything looks so much bigger on Amazon, but when I plugged in to the spigot I couldn’t believe how much the thing grows in size and length. It’s very lightweight so it’s easier for the older people in your life to water their plants compared to a rubber hose This is light as a feather. It’s made very sturdy and will last the test of time.

This hose definitely does not expand to a total of 55 feet. I think at best it expands to about 35 feet of usuable hose. I do like that when it is not expanded the hose is very lightweight and collapses tightly. I think that for light use, this is an excellent hose. The spray nozzle that's included works well and the water is sprayed smoothly and effectively. The only other issue that I have with this hose besides the size, is that after you are done using the hose and collapse it, it is very damp on the outside--like it was made of fabric that got wet. This makes it difficult to store the hose right away after using it as it needs time to dry out.

This is an ok hose. It stretches as it should, there are no leaks, and it was easy to thread. After use, it shrink as you’d expect, ready to go again. No complaints here.

If you've never used one of these expandable hoses, you really need to get one. I keep this one right by the front door of our home. It's permanently installed onto the spigot under the window. Since it retracts in size when not in use, it's not an eyesore. The alternative is to have a non-collapsing hose there, but my wife would never allow that. Installing a hose reel on the wall is also not an option for us. I love the fact that it also comes with a hose end sprayer! Highly recommended, especially for Amazon's low listed selling price.

This expandable hose comes in a bag, complete with the hose itself, some washer inserts, and the spray nozzle. The nose does indeed expand to 50'. I can get the 40' from one side of my deck to the other to water the plants there. The nozzles feel sturdy, and not the plastic type you find on others. The spray head itself is lightweight. I've had a bunch of these break over the years, but mine didn't leak, sprayed a variety of different types - mist, shower, jet etc. Overall, it's a perfectly fine lightweight expandable hose with no issues
