I purchased two of these and the wife and I have over 1000 miles on them now. I am 60lbs heavier then the wife and top speed for me is between 26 and 32 depending on wind. My wife gets 30-35. Distance is decent. Not as much as I hoped. I weigh around 230 and if I don't use peddle assist I only get around 20 miles on a charge going full throttle. My lighter wife can get 25-30 miles. I would imagine we could go further going slower as it is a much slower battery drain. The good news is we usually use peddle assist and we frequently do 30 mile trips and I have over half my battery life left. They are a bit heavy so make sure you get a heavy duty hitch bike rack for your vehicle or you may lose your bike. At 90 lbs each, once you put two bikes on a rack you are looking at 180lbs total which is more weight then most of the hitch bike racks are rated for. Assembly is not too bad. Each bike took me around 30 minutes with no help.

The bike arrived earlier than expected which was great. My 12 year old grandson and I proceeded to put it together. I almost gave up but he was persistent and said “we can do this!” He figured out most everything and between the two of us we had it put together and running by noon. It’s a beautiful bike and I’m slowly learning how to ride it. I know I’ll feel more comfortable as time goes on. It is a bit of a learning curve for me at 72 years but I’m up for the challenge. So far so good. I’m loving it!

Was skeptical with how this bike would be..but to my surprise I am very happy with it. It came well padded and packed all the way from California to New England. To put it together took 15 minutes..add seat post insert front tire and pop in handle bars and pedals that's it. I charged the battery and ready to ride. This bike is fast! I love it. Going to order a mirror and cup holder. Bike is sturdy bit heavier than others but I like ruggedness!

Fun, fun, fun to ride. I'm enjoying this bike tremendously despite a few hiccups. Easy to assemble, high quality construction. All required tools are in the box. Advanced hyraulic brakes and Shimano derailleur. Effective front suspension really smooths out the ride. LCD is (just barely) readable in sunlight if viewed at a direct angle. Seat and handlebar height settings easily adjustable with quick release levers. Folds fairly easily and truly takes up half the space when folded. More than fast enough for my taste, 20mph or so on full throttle over level ground, faster using pedal assist at highest setting and top gear. (FYI despite specs on product page, there is no front derailleur, only a single front gear). My limited trial of the bike's true range on a full charge is just under 40 miles over partly hilly terrain with liberal use of full electric mode. Not too shabby for those conditions. On the negative side, -the bike seems really heavy to me at a published weight of 72lbs, including battery. Because of this, I find it difficult to get it started as you would a traditional bike. I have to straddle the bike and give it a little boost with the throttle to get it moving. Mounting it horesback style by placing one foot on the pedal and swinging the other over doesn't work at all for me and can be dangerous if you forget to disable pedal assist. I took a small spill because the motor engaged and the bike got away from me while I was trying to mount it. -the gear ratios seem to be mismatched with the capabilities of the motor. Once pedal assist kicks in, there is no resistance at all to the pedals. Pedalling serves only to keep the motor running, not propel the the bike directly. I don't have any previous experience with e-bikes, so for all I know that's the nature of the beast. You can pedal really fast for aerobic exercise, but for working your muscles you need to use classic cycle mode. -the control panel is a little hard to see and use while cycling. The buttons are small and require significant pressure to engage. The viewing angle for the display is very limiting and I wish it were brighter. Customer service has been great. Communication is fast and responsive. Any issues I have had were promptly resolved. I chose the step over model for its appearance. If I were to purchase another, I would get the step-through style for easier mounting. Although I would certainly consider a lighter bike, I would have no qualms about buying another Cybervelo for my wife if she decides to join me on my excursions. The price is a good one given the advanced features of the bike.

This bike brings me joy every time I ride it. It arrived in great condition, a week earlier than expected. Opened the box and it was mostly assembled. Got the manual out and it was easy to follow. All tools were included and it came with a bike multi tool for future use. The bike is solid and easy to ride. My only beef is i wish the brakes were hydraulic. Stopping power isn't great, especially when you get this thing going at full speed. It rips. I was really surprised with how fast it can go. Fits in my limited garage space great. You won't be disappointed.

There is some assembly required but the directions are easy to follow and they include a very nice tool kit that I’m sure will come in handy .

I have never rode an E bike before. It rode well in my gravel driveway with the wide tires versus skinny tires of a regular bicycle. The seat & handlebars adjusted well for my 5’2” height.
