  • Not the best ebike out there, but great for the price and a solid choice for a first ebike.
Color: F6B-Black Style: Standard
The good: -Bike seems to be pretty rugged. I took a fall while going off a curb on this bike and it's still fine. The pedals also fold in against the bike if it drops on its side to prevent them from breaking off, pretty clever design. -Relatively simple to assemble out of the box. Not too complex, all the tools come with the bike. -Battery seems to have a decent capacity, but no idea if it will ever live up to its advertised 80+ miles range. I highly doubt that number, maybe if you're 100 pounds and you keep it on PAS 1 all the time. Maybe. I went about 10 miles using PAS 3-4 and the battery dropped to four bars (out of five). -It's pretty good at accelerating from standstill, and even going uphill. I've never been able to go above 24-25MPH, probably shouldn't anyway for the sake of my own safety. I doubt it can go over 30 as advertised. -Suspension does a good enough job of absorbing bumps and jolts. Could be better, could be worse. Don't expect it to save you from potholes. The bad: -Compared to bikes with larger wheels, this bike has a higher chance of just launching you off forwards if you drop onto the street from the curb instead of taking the ramp. I learned this the hard way (see above). This is something inherent to the wheel size and not specifically a problem with the bike itself, but keep that in mind. -The wires are really flimsy. The line connecting the front headlight to the battery is very fragile and is prone to snapping just from you steering. That doesn't really matter much though, since the headlight is very dim even when turned on. I guarantee you that your phone's light is brighter than this thing. The rest of the lines are well protected in some sort of rubber wrapping, so I guess what really matters won't break that easily. -The chain is exposed on the right side of the bike. Get a plastic cover for it or be careful not to get lubricant on your pants. -The bell that comes with this thing is absolute trash. Get your own. -The seat that comes on this bike is kinda meh. It's good enough, technically, but it could be a lot better. Nothing of major concern unless you're going to be riding it for more than an hour daily. The interesting: -It seems the design has seen some minor updates. My bike looks slightly different from the ones I saw in the reviews before my purchase. Somebody pointed out that the text on the side said "ELECRIC BIKE", missing a T there. Mine reads "ELECTRIC BIKE", so I guess they saw that review and fixed it. -The LCD screen is new, I think. It sure doesn't look like the screen that's shown in the manual, nor do the buttons look the same either. Speaking of which, my screen cracked a bit on the top when I took that fall. It still works fine, so there's that. - This thing weighs over thirty kilograms, or seventy pounds. Unless you lift weights regularly, you really don't understand just how heavy that really is, especially when trying to lift something that's larger than you. Get a buddy to help you if you need to bring it upstairs. - The motor gives off this high-pitch whine. Not sure if that's normal, I assume it is. The brakes also squeak pretty loudly, and I don't really like that. They look fine and work fine though, so right now I just leave them be. - The lights (assuming they work) turn on automatically when you plug in the battery, and do not care whether you press the lights button or not. Don't keep your battery plugged in if you leave it on your bike. Overall: 5 stars. I'd give it a 4, BUT their customer service is pretty great, a lot better than I expected. The original headlight that came in the box was faulty, the manufacturer sent me a new one free. Of course that doesn't matter for shit now that the line has snapped, but still. UPDATE 08/2025: - Unfortunately, someone stole my original bike. So I bought a new one. I retract my previous statement about the lights - they now work as intended, and the front light is decently bright. - However, this bike also seems to suffer a bit of QC issues. The cargo rack is slightly skewed and offset to the left. It is not something that would impact the performance of the bike itself, but it is still something to be frowned upon. - Keep in mind that this bike's potential for speed is greater than the quality of its brakes. I highly advise against using PAS 4-5 unless you are going uphill - you will wear out your brakes within months. This was the case with my original bike, the rear brakes kept wobbling and squeaking if they were the only ones being used. ... show more

  • We're very happy with these Euybike F6 bicycles!
Color: F6F-Black Style: Standard
I looked for almost 2 years before selecting this pair of bikes for my wife and I to ride at the beach on our yearly vacation. We won't use them much other than that. They arrived a week ahead of their scheduled delivery date.. I was very happy. Although, it would have been nice if I got an email or something telling me.. they just showed up and fortunately I was at home. But, honestly.. a week early is pretty cool. I will say that after riding regular bicycles my whole life, mountain bikes in particular, I was a little surprised at the geometry, the body mechanics layout of how these bikes are. When you've got the seat at the height so your tippy toes are balancing the bike on the road when sitting on it stationary, when you go to pedal it's not a position where you can put a lot of muscle into it. It feels kind of odd. The other thing is these bikes seem really designed to be electric power primarily. The pedal assist is kind of secondary.. because if you're in pedal assist 3 for example, starting from stationary, as soon as you begin to pedal the motor kicks in and takes it up to full speed regardless of how fast or slow your peddling RPM is. The thing is, it's a new machine to operate and there's a learning curve. The pedal assist positions from one to five really need to be shifted through like the derailleur gears. So there's a new kind of coordination and method to ride it.. it's not just a bicycle with some electric power.. it requires learning to use, to get the feel of. I'm not knocking or diminishing the bicycle saying this. It was just unexpected on my part is all. Where we're going to be riding at the beach it's mostly flat I think we're going to have a wonderful time with them. I was practicing my first ride in our very hilly neighborhood, where there's no level road anywhere. The hills made it especially tricky to get the hang of it. Had I been doing it in a flat neighborhood it would come much quicker. I was surprised to find that there's a tail light, a brake light that both front and rear brake levers activate. Way cool! Also, I recommend getting a rear view mirror or two. It's really awkward to look over your shoulder the way the riding position is. Be sure to get mirrors that have a long reach to them or you'll just be looking at your shoulder or the side of your body. On another note they arrived 90% assembled. It was simple and obvious to assemble the last few pieces to get them ready to ride. The few tools required are all supplied.. I was impressed with how nicely everything was put together, Including the packaging. I will say that for $1,400 delivered for two of these bicycles, the Euybike F6 models, (pronounced you-ee bike) you can't go wrong. There's plenty of power on steep hills, the battery is big -20 amp hours.. I don't know how long that will actually translate into distance.. the build quality is very nice.. the display is bright and easy to see.. honestly I would have thought these would be like $1400 each. The cable actuated disc brakes have the adjustments needed to keep them from squeaking but you've kind of got to know what you're doing or have some experience to set the caliper back from the disc a hair so they don't squeak without brakes applied. Cuz if the calipers moved a little too far it will deform the disk every time you brake and I would imagine they wouldn't last very long. So that's it. I'm super happy with everything so far. We've not gone on any substantial ride yet.. I hope the seats don't hurt our soft butts after a few miles! ... show more

  • 600 miles in, here's what I've found
Color: F6F-Black Style: Standard
I've put about 600 miles on this thing since I got it. I was skeptical, of course, because of the price point and the general newness of ebikes. I use this bike to get to work, about a 10 mile ride both ways. takes potholes like a champ, keeps semi-up with traffic. (most speed limits are 30) The ride is smooth enough, and it's light enough to fit in the back of an uber if it comes to it (whether the actual bike fits in depends on the how big the car is). as for the folding feature, No matter what I can do I can't get it to fold up in the middle. I tried one night and couldn't get it and gave up. I also wish this had some form of turn signal that isn't a third party item I have to add to the bike, as not all drivers understand hand signals. As for durability, this thing is pretty solid. I crashed goin probably 25 through an intersection due to a hidden well of gravel, bike was a little scratched and the brake cables had to be re-adjusted but other than that no major damage and have put another 300 miles on it. that being said, the bike works great. it's not gonna keep up with traffic like a higher power bike would, but for its class range and it's legality without a license it's just about as good as you can get for the price. highly recommend especially whether you're biking out of necessity like my case or you are doing it for fun. also, if you're using this bike for a commute, buy mirrors. they help. ... show more
