  • Just right for my jobs--washing deck, siding, car. Much easier to wield than large pressure washer!
Size: 1 Battery
I ordered this pressure washer because I wanted something small that I could easily use to rinse off my deck now and then, and to wash off my house siding and windows about once a year. I've been doing all these with a garden hose but thought this device might be an improvement. I'm a senior citizen and I like to do things for myself when I can--I knew I couldn't handle a big powerful pressure washer but this looked promising. I'm happy to report that it is perfect for my purposes and easy for me to operate. When I first opened up the nice case that comes with it, I was a little bit intimidated by all the parts, but the ad on Amazon has a great video that showed me exactly how to set it all up. I only needed to attach it to my outdoor water spigot, which was easy, but the fact that it has alternative ways to access the water supply is pretty neat! It made short work of my deck; took about 20 minutes and it cleaned all the built-up stuff out of the cracks between the boards much better than my garden hose sprayer has been doing. I've got it charging again and will try it next on the car...I usually do the siding and windows in the fall when it cools down just a bit, but after using it on the deck, I'm quite sure it will do just fine! My neighbor spotted me using it on the deck and already asked to borrow it! For my short jobs, one battery is fine--I can complete one project and then recharge it while I rest up for the next job. If you plan to use it for bigger jobs that take longer, I recommend getting a second battery that you can keep charged up and ready to go. I've got a mower, trimmer, leaf blower and snow blower that all work off of two sets of batteries that I keep charged up all year round (not the same type that this uses, unfortunately) and those batteries have lasted 3 years and still work great, so I do trust these battery-operated devices to last. ... show more

  • Portable, pumps bucket water, light duty
Size: 1 Battery
The media could not be loaded. TLDR: Great value for bucket sourced water supply. This is a portable, battery-operated pressure washer priced around $63 with a coupon and for what you get it feels worth every penny. That said, I find myself struggling to choose this over my full-sized electric pressure washer unless I specifically need something for remote use where water has to be pulled from a bucket rather than a hose. There’s a lot to like here. It comes with a carrying case that holds everything neatly; although opening it gave me flashbacks to time spent in overseas factories due to the strong chemical smell. Give it a week to fully off-gas. There’s also one oddly-shaped item that doesn’t quite fit in its designated space in the case (as shown in my photos), but that’s a minor issue. The nozzle is especially impressive: it integrates all the spray tips in a rotating head, letting you easily switch modes. This is a feature I wish all my pressure washers had. You can also adjust spray intensity from level 1 to 9 via the buttons on the back. It comes with several accessories for drawing water from a bucket, which is where this unit really shines. Now, here’s where things fall short, at least for my use. It doesn’t include a garden hose adapter unless you modify the bottle attachment or manually assemble the provided hose + fittings. Thankfully, these are standard quick-connect fittings, and I had spares. But more concerning: when connected to a hose, the unit continues to spray water from the nozzle even when the trigger isn’t pressed. This is a major oversight as no proper pressure washer should behave this way. You’ll need an external on/off valve at the hose connection to prevent water everywhere between actuations. That alone makes this less appealing for typical home use with a hose and I personally feel it's biggest downside. As for performance, it's decent for light-duty jobs. It managed simple cleaning tasks, but struggled to remove redwood stains from my grill tile. My electric unit handles that easily, and my older gas-powered one was even stronger. I ran this washer on level 9 the entire time and had to rely on the narrowest spray settings to get results. On a full charge, I got about 15–20 minutes of use before the battery dropped to two out for four bars. Unfortunately, the battery appears proprietary, and I’m unsure if replacements will be easy to source in the future. That’s disappointing, especially compared to other no-name brands that at least use batteries compatible with brand names. In summary this is a great value for those who need a light duty washer. If you already have an electric one like myself the 2-3 extra minutes of setup for a true on/off via trigger pull and having available outlets around the yard has me questioning when I might pull this one out. ... show more

  • Surprisingly Useful and Easy to Use
Size: 1 Battery
This pressure washer doesn’t have the power of a larger gas powered or plug-in electric washer, but it is surprisingly capable. And it’s far easier to set up and use than a bigger unit. It can be connected to garden hose, or it can also draw water out of a bucket if a hoe isn’t available. That feature could be especially handy because you can use this away from a water source, as long as you’re willing to haul buckets of water to the washing location. That might be great for apartment dwellers who don’t have access to a garden hose. The washer comes in a handy case, with compartments for the washer gun itself and the battery, plus a couple of other compartments that can hold the charger and a soap dispenser. A few other pieces such as the washer lance, the hose and various fittings can go into a mesh pocket in the lid. I ordered this primarily to give the car a quick rinse as I live near a dirt road and there’s always dust flying around. I stayed with somewhat gentler settings of 5 for the power (out of 10 max), and a medium-width spray nozzle setting and it worked well. It removed lightly adhered dirt and dust, and also some of the brake dust that builds up on the front wheels. I was impressed with how easy the washer was to use. It’s light enough that it’s not fatiguing, and not so noisy that you have to wear hearing protection. One thing to not is when connected to a garden hose, a gentle stream of water comes out of the spray nozzle even when the washer isn’t operating. It doesn’t shut off fully like a big pressure washer. My pictures show how much water sprays out when you are not pulling the trigger. I can’t comment on long term reliability, but the washer gun is reassuringly heavy so it feels like it should be durable. A negative is that there is no indication of where you might buy additional batteries. But I did notice that the batteries are compatible with an off-brand cordless pruning clipper that I have. So, to get additional batteries you might look for another cordless tool on Amazon. ... show more
