The 1000 lights (400 ft) are very nice. Use remote control to switch between sequences and brighten/dim the lights. The remote has to be pretty close to the plug/module for it to work. There is a button for basic control which is located on the module. Getting lights off the spool was a challenge -- should be straightforward -- had to disassemble the spool and untangle. Once I got past that part, it was smooth sailing. The lights themselves are pretty tiny and don't weigh very much. I installed the entire strand of lights on the shrubbery in front of our house and it looks really nice. Looking forward to using them throughout the holiday season! ... show more

Ive never seen lights like this, on a string this long. So cool. Feel like real quality lights. Got these originally for Christmas lights on our house, but I think Im gonna hang them for everyday lights to hang on our house and around to the back fence. They are long enough with is great. They have a remote to change the brightness, set a timer and whatnot. Not something you can do with regular white lights. Love the smaller size of these also. I enjoy these lights because of the reusable spool as well as long distance of coverage. The lighting modes and remote work very well, but they are best for trees and bushes since they are all placed in different angles. I call these fairy lights, do to their small size. First off, the remote control allows you to set it to one of four brightness settings and then you can choose one of eight "action settings" (slow fade, fast fade, twinkle, etc." One string (1,000 lights) will definitely be enough for our Christmas tree, but it could also be used elsewhere in the house or outside. The media could not be loaded. I wanted larger strands of lights for outdoors this Christmas. One thing I look for is the lights to at least remember what mode they are on when unplugged and plugged back in. This definitely has that memory feature and also comes with a remote. In the video I show the different modes and also how it keeps its memory when you turn them on or off. It also does this if you unplug and plug back in which is a must now a days.
