We live in a very rural area on dirt/muddy roads. We will connect two hoses from a faucet in our garage to rise excessive snow or mud off before pulling vehicles inside. This hose is such a great alternative to a "traditional" plastic hose. Unlike the traditional 50ft hose that is a hassle to use because it is stiff in the cold, kinks easy and is a space hog, this expandable hose it awesome. It takes up minimal space, is easy to store and has not "kinked" once. The shutoff valve at the end is awesome; allowing the hose to fully extend and not soaking everything in the process. The brass fittings and o-rings seal perfectly so no annoying drips. The kit included the 25ft hose, extra o-rings and instruction in a reusable storage bag. Nothing more annoying than having a long plastic hose that's hard to store. That's why I'm a big fan of this expandable one - when you're using it, you can stretch it out pretty far. When not, it retracts into a much more manageable length - can just loop it around the faucet maybe 3-4 times and you're good. Overall quality seems fine - easy enough to install and on leaks. It is lightweight and shrinks in size when water turned off, it connected to the faucet without showing any leaks. What really impressed me was the turn off valve near the end of the hose before where you might attach a nozzle, without having any nozzle attached I turned off that valve and it stopped the water at the end of the hose without any leaks, that is a nice bonus if you happen to get a nozzle that drips when not being used. ... show more

This is a very lightweght hose and compact until put into use. Cool how it expands with water pressure and remains that way until finished. Not able to address durability until it has been used multiple times, but solid construction leads me to think it should last.
