    • Pretty rugs, not so great on bare floors, or easy clean

(See update below) I bought two of these for my kitchen floor. I loved the color and the material. I did read reviews and bought anyway. What you should know: -I like them and I’m keeping them, however… -They don’t really stay put, so I bought sticky pads to put in four corners but they still don’t stay put too well. Because of it you can trip and fall (I’ve not fallen, but I’ve tripped on the rolling edge a few times). -You have to hand vacuum in order to clean them, as you can’t run the vacuum on it, or it’ll snag the weaving. -You can brush a bit with a broom, but you still have to vacuum to get it all out. Dog hair will stick anyway a bit and will show if it’s a light color fur. -I’ve not washed them cause I’m afraid they’re going to snag or unravel. I think hand wash would be best, but who hand washed rugs? (I should’ve thought about this beforehand). -I dripped a bit of bleach on accident so now I have a few light splotches here and there on one rug. NBD, but you can’t flip on other side as it’s not reversible really. I love the colors, so there’s a plus. I may attempt a light cycle in my washer and hang dry since weather has been nice and hit for it. May post an update if I do. All in all, if you’re okay with all that, they’re nice rugs. No cushion of course, but you can be barefoot on it. Update: I’ve owned these about a year. Washed them on delicate cycle twice and hung up to dry. They still did unravel a little, so I ended up taking a crochet hook to re-weave, and stitching it with needle and thread here and there. I still love the color, and the material, but in truth these aren’t very good kitchen rugs, or anywhere with high traffic. I tried keeping them on floor with rug grippers but that just got sticky stuff on my floor that it’s taking a lot to get off when you mop the floor (I hate rug grippers). All in all, if you were in my same predicament, I’d tell you not to buy them. I’m ultimately going to buy something else now. ... show more

I like the rug style and colors I purchased. Mine have a tag that says to spot clean only. I worry they will become kind of dingy over time, but I won’t trust them in a washing machine, maybe a front load, but no agitator post. If you have pets (I have cats) you’ll need to occasionally tuck lose strands back into the stitching as the kitties seem to accidentally hook a bit of material out when rough housing with the rug. Minor inconvenience, hopes the stitching holds up to this. Keep a large needle or crochet hook handy. They make for a perfect accent rug, brightens the room. Not sure about how durable they are. And they’re not really plush under foot, but I didn’t expect that. I wanted rugs that were easy care and made the room brighter looking. Time will tell if they hold up. I think four is a most appropriate rating. Durability is my main concern, along with spot clean up having pets. ... show more

The colors were perfect to be in front of my blue induction range… it is unbelievably difficult/impossible to find rugs with royal blue in them. The threads are actually all white and the pattern is “painted” on the rug. It is the thinnest rug I’ve ever owned. There were only 2 sizes available and neither were the ones I needed / wanted, but I’m making them work. ... show more

So like the title says, this thing is huge!!! It's more like 10x12 or 12x15. It's massive. It's heavy though and lays nice. I might buy a couple more.

I haven't tried to clean it yet, and I wouldn't call it soft, but it's for my kitchen so soft wasn't a prerequisite. I bought the wrong size at first because why measure if you can guess, right? But it was Prime and return eligible and I put it on the floor to see how it looked before preparing to return it. The colors were so nice (mine is red) against the terra cotta tile, that I moved the small rug to the entry, bought the proper size for the kitchen and have since put that in place. It's just a really pretty, brightly colored, really vibrant and happy looking rug that didn't cost an arm and a leg. I like seeing both of them. If you're looking for something to cover a hard floor that is brightly colored and not super expensive, this might just be the rug for you. I'll edit the review if it falls apart all of a sudden, or doesn't wear well, but so far it's been a week or so and I still really like it. ... show more
