This is a great canopy for gatherings! Love that it's so versatile. Can be closed in with both sides down, one side down and one up to allow more space while keeping coverage, or both sides open for maximum overhead coverage. As long as it's not terribly windy it's pretty stable once staked down and secured properly. Happy I grabbed this one!

I got this canopy to use at home, while camping, and when attending my kid's sports games at the park. I was interested in this specific canopy because it was advertised as "instant pop up", and I thought that would be great for my needs. The pros: I really liked that it came with a convenient bag. This made transporting easier, and it was convenient for me to be able to store all of the stakes and such together. I found the whole canopy to be lightweight and easy to move around. Once assembled, it was fairly easy for me to "pop up" the canopy and set up where I needed it to be. This worked well for providing shelter from the sun and the rain. The cons: I found the canopy to be somewhat flimsy, and the Velcro that attached the metal frame to the tent/ tarp part of the canopy has come loose for me. The canopy allows the ability for the side walls to be lifted up and used to extend the shade from the canopy. However, I've never been able to use it that way because the support rods have been way too flimsy and unable to stay straight. While this did work to provide shade for me, and I found it easy to transport, I did not like how flimsy the overall canopy felt and that I couldn't use the slide flaps the way it is described in the product description. The Velcro coming loose was also a dissatisfier.

It was easy to set up and light weight, only issue was getting it to go back in it’s bag, you have to make sure it’s compacted very well to get it to fit back in its carry case, great quality for its price range.

You can get a better canopy tent from Walmart for cheaper. The sides seem like a great idea until you realize you have to pin them to the ground with string. They also block airflow while down as walls and flap around a lot. It functioned fine for my event up until the end when the button to collapse the leg got stuck inside because something else came undone. Thankfully my father fixed it, but it was frustrating, and it will probably happen again. update: While it was fixable before it is no longer worth the hassle. Some plastic piece came off and now one of the telescope bars on the legs is stuck inside. Suffice to say it is now where it belongs, in the dumpster. :(

This canopy is light weight, easy to carry in the provided bag, easy to set up and take down. But very thin. Because it is light weight and thin, it is more likely to blow away and get damaged. As long as you tie and peg it down, and the wind isn't more than 15 mph, you will probably never have a problem. It came with plenty of ropes to tie it down with. Plenty of pegs and even came with sand bags to hold the legs down when you can't peg them down. Of course the sand bags are empty. Take care of this canopy and it will take care of you. It gives lots of shade. I love how much shade this can supply. You can even pack it up while leaving the cloth part attached to the frame. The canopy fabric seems a little thin but tough enough and the seams are durable enough. I did have the thread on the bag tear a little when I accidentally lifted it up with only one strap so I'm going to be a little more careful with this thing in the future. My main concern is the really thin legs. They did a really good job designing this to shrink down to a very manageable size. But with that small size, they had to make the legs nest three times so the last segment of the legs is quite thin. I'm worried they will be the first thing to break at some point. I'm going to try to avoid using this in windy conditions. But on a hot calm sunny day, this is a life saver outside.

Very nice instant tent for warm weather events at a park, picnic or back yard fun and entertainment. I barbque and do a lot of outdoor activities during warm weather season and this works perfectly for me to provide shade for my Family and I. It is also affordably priced too.
