I was once again treated to a reason to do business with a reputable company versus trying to save a couple bucks on cheap Chinese imports. Bought the EZ up as a gift for my son. It didn't get unpackaged for the first use until after the return deadline for Amazon had expired. Two of the legs were bent straight out of the box. The bent legs would extend only with brute force applied. My son has an extremely demanding job and a young family so getting this handled was not high on his priority list. Once I found out, I offered to handle it for him. Long story short, it was nearly 2 months later before I was able to get the supporting pics and documents to EZ up. They stepped right up with no delay. I'm now waiting on the replacement they sent free of charge. Stellar customer service. Extremely satisfied. ... show more

    • Do not camp in rain!

It is an awesome shelter when used with the E-ZUP Cube Tent, but if it rains,get out of the tent and from under the shelter and take it down! Ours collapse. Water will pool, and it will bring the dome part down first. You can pop it back up and release pooled water. Then to prevent it from happening again as we were in a major storm, I put two legs down so water wouldn't pool. It somewhat worked, but the legs eventually broke as we were in the vehicle waiting for storms to pass. A camping system like that should not be brought down by rain. It should properly drain, and I was sure to extend dome completely so it would drain. It did not. Hopefully, they will honor warranty. Literally only used it once for about 4 hours. Used this for a beach day. Easy to roll across the parking lot, not too heavy to carry across the sand- great handles. Was perfect size for 6 people. The only bad thing to say is it took some muscle to click the locking pins in place when setting up, but it was doable and pretty easy to take down. It definitely took 2 people to set up and take down though. It's a little tight putting it back into the carrying bag. Overall, it was nice, and I'm happy with my purchase. I bought the grey. It's a nice dark, classy gray. It shouldn't show the dirt. It is the quality for day use only. Not for long term weather exposure. ... show more

Please read entire review. I had an EZ UP canopy that I purchased in 2007 and so long as I used scotchguard every couple of years it was totally waterproof. This canopy was used on very frequent basis and it held up under all reasonable conditions including rain, wind etc. It is still in good working order today except one of the leg buttons started to get stuck. Canopy is looking worn, but still good. So, I decided it was time to buy a new one. Of course I would choose EZ UP again, right? Of course I would after 15 years of great experiences. Well, I ordered the EZ UP Ambassador- model AMB3SBKF10SG. BEWARE...This canopy was purchased in mid April 2022, used first time in mid May. Had some rain, small storm and it did hold up, but because the canopy is no longer attached to side walls of frame, rain would pile up and then dump over edges. Canopy sides would flip back behind frame. Soo, then it was put up at home for family picnic and a small, I mean small rain storm came with some winds...while being staked down and even tied off to picnic table the canopy legs Snapped like a toy from the dollar aisle!! No warranty coverage at all, two uses and a TOTAL waste of money. Whatever EZ UP did as a once well known quality maker of OUTDOOR canopies, has died! They are now a piece of junk maker of canopies that apparently are not made for the outdoors. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY. ... show more

    • Easy to set up and take down

This canopy replaced my first generation EZ UP that had poles you needed to put together to hold up the top. This canopy opens and the top is instantly supported with struts from the top of the four legs. There is no center pole holding up the peak. The pull rings and the height adjustment clips are set up well so you should not pinch your fingers. The frame mechanism is greatly improved and no fingers were pinched during set up or take down. Two of us easily set it up and took it down; with the old one if two people tried to do that there would be a lot of saying, "Wait while I move to the other corner. No, don't pull it yet. Ouch, you just pinched me!" The rolling bag is sturdy and the wheels are large so it is easy to pull along. The canopy is heavy to lift so the rolling bag is a needed. I also bought a sidewall and it has a little storage bag which fits inside the roller bag. I bought white; I wanted blue but the Ambassador does not come in that color. I like that it is true 10' X 10' with straight vertical legs. Be sure to get the side wall to increase the shade as the canopy sits up high. It is tall with only two height adjustments: high and higher. Some of the literature says it has three height adjustments, but I contacted EZ UP and they confirmed that it only has two adjustment height holes. The fabric is substantial and it is reinforced in the corners. I did not use it in the rain and it was not windy. We used it to have a socially distanced meal in our driveway on a very sunny day during Covid-19. ... show more
