Great quality canopy. Very easy initial setup. I happened to have some extra sand, and the bags held up to the weight perfectly. Tear down was slightly more difficult, but I think that’s due to my own inexperience. Returning the folded metal structure to the carry bag was a cinch, but I couldn’t figure out how to fold the canopy material tight enough to go in there as well. Wish it was a few inches taller on the sides so that I didn’t have to duck my head to walk in and out (I’m 5’11”). Seems to be a tremendous value.

I got this tent in November 2022 and put it up over our backyard patio so my husband could grill and and not get rained on. I originally thought we'd put the tent away for the summer when the rainy season was over. Well, that never happened. The tent's been out there this entire time. As of the writing of this review, December 2024, it's been standing out in the elements for over two years, in sun, rain, snow, hail, sleet, and our famous Seattle area annual windstorms, the latest of which killed two people, damaged countless properties public and private, took out our power for three days and cell service for 1.5 days, and... didn't budge this tent one bit. The tent canopy suffered a 4" L shaped slash from, I'm guessing, impact from a falling branch being blown into it, but otherwise is none the worse for wear. There are places of tension where the canopy is starting to tear just this winter. I'm guessing the canopy is starting to degrade after being through two snow seasons, two summers, immunerable days of rain (Pacific Northwest) and counting the most recent one, three windstorms. It's not even staked down but just freestanding on our concrete patio. I do shake the snow off of the canopy when it accumulates because that can get really heavy and possibly collapse the tent. I am really hoping the maker sells replacement canopies so that I can replace the canopy next summer!

We had purchased this for our beach vacation. It arrived a couple of days before leaving so unpacked for the first use on first day at beach. One leg was missing holes to adjust the height so had to deal with one leg lower than other 3. We used it one day at the beach because of this. Decided over the 4th of July weekend to try and set it up by the pool for shade and figure out a way to ‘rig’ the one leg. When we put the cover over the frame, that same corner fabric ripped when trying to put the canopy on. We had decided to live with it for the summer to get through the season, and then three days ago a rain storm with some wind (supposedly wind resistant) shifted the weighted down tent and bent the ‘steel frame’ legs and broke two of the side frames. Needless to say disappointed in the quality of the tent that have had a little over a month and used 3 times. Sadly, i loved the design of this tent, and hard finding another with the design and look of this tent.

The canopy was easy to set up. The only issue I had was first night got light rain and all the seams were leaking. The next day you could see daylight through the seams. Contacted customer service and with a few email interactions they are sending me a new canopy top. I have to say customer service was great and responsive. Cross my fingers that the replacement is better than the original.

I bought this to replace the same one I bought last year- this one is an updated version with an easier set up (push up button in the middle) and the cover seems thicker and stronger than the light gray one I previously owned. It worked well to cover my patio all summer.

This canopy is A+ impressive. We've had it for two years now and it stays up in our backyard during the entire summer (in South Carolina). Our neighbors liked our idea so they set up their own canopy, but it was a different brand and collapsed in the wind within a week. The only time we've taken ours down is for the winter and once during a hurricane scare. Storms, winds, you name it - nothing is taking this thing down (when staked down). We don't even have the guy lines staked down, just the poles. After two years in the baking sun, it's probably about time to replace the canopy itself (the frame is still perfect), as it's gotten a little brittle, but we're going to wait until the end of the summer to do so. Also, pro tip when moving it with just two people - lower it to the lowest height and carry it by lifting the cross beams rather than awkwardly moving it leg by leg. Edit: almost three years in and we're about to buy a new canopy. The current one became so brittle it started ripping. The frame is still perfect, but unfortunately they don't sell replacement canopies for this model that I can find. That's still the only downside! If we didn't leave it up for about 8 months out of the year, I'm sure it would have lasted way longer.

The canopy itself is a good and sturdy. The instructions, however, are awful and design is poor. In particular, the if you are not careful and press the inner carefully, you will inadvertently push too far and the two centers will wedge together and it will be impossible to separate the two as shown in attached picture. Any product that can be so easily be inadvertently forced into a position that renders the product useless is a bad design.
