I’m really happy with this dehydrator. It came with all the mats for the trays, and the rectangular trays are so much easier to use than the traditional round ones. It’s simple to set the timer, the temperature controls are straightforward, and it held an even temperature even when we used it in our cooler garage. The latch on the door is also a nice touch and seals it well during use. For our first run, we dehydrated lemons, limes, and rosemary to make simmer pots for Christmas. Cleanup was quick and easy, and it made the entire garage smell like fresh citrus. The value for the money is amazing, and it doesn’t take up too much space either. Next up we’re trying fruit rollups and then black garlic. So far we’re really enjoying it and highly recommend it!

The best dehydrator I have ever owned. It easy to use and clean. The racks are steel so can go in dishwasher and won’t melt. Can make adjustments during the process if needed.

Very quiet. Racks are sturdy and easy to clean. Much easier than the cheap plastic racks that require toothbrushes to clean.

Thermostat is off by 10 degrees at the bottom of the range (less at the top), when set to the lowest setting 85F it is actually 75F. It is reading 8 degrees too low when set to 160F, this is not acceptable for a dehydrator designed to be used with meat products. Checked with 4 different thermometers. The setting goes down to 55F but the thermostat settings below 85 are all the same setting. When set to 00 (heat off) the fan puts out so much heat (35w) it heats 5-6 degrees above ambient, so there really is not a fan only mode. The timer can only be set to 24 hours which is a huge flaw for something being sold specifically for biltong that can take days to dry. If the power goes out briefly (happens a lot where I live) it remembers the settings but does not turn back on. The fan blows too strong for biltong, the outside dries too fast and the hanging pieces constantly swing knocking off seasoning. When the heat setting is set higher to compensate for the bad calibration it works very well for jerky and drying herbs. The air circulation is very even and trays do no need to be rotated. The quality of the trays and mats and overall quality of the unit is very good.
