I was a little hesitant at first, but you shouldn’t be! The quality is amazing. I usually stick with name brands, but this one really impressed me. The sound is fantastic and hits hard—no complaints at all! Seriously, just go for it! After I set up and tuned the subwoofer, it was super easy to switch it on and off with the head unit, and the difference in sound was huge! The bass is clear and full, even at lower volumes, which is exactly what I like which are country, classic rock, and R&B. When I turned up the volume, the bass really kicked in, so I had to adjust it down with the equalizer. I didn’t even need to use the remote that came with it. I’m not getting paid for this review—it just works, and you should definitely get one. It’s a big upgrade from stock! My new system sounded okay, but it really needed more bass, especially at lower levels. These subs sound incredible in a hatchback or SUV—really impressive. In a truck or car, if you point the speakers toward the back seat, you’ll get great sound. They don’t perform as well in a convertible, though; finding a good setup is tough due to limited space and sound loss when the top's down. But they’re totally worth the price. Great starter subs—not for competition, but perfect for rock and some rap. Don’t hesitate to buy them, and be sure to follow my tuning tips! ... show more

Great sound. I switched to this from an under the seat unit and it's so much better sounding. The only thing it lacks is an outboard gain control. My head unit has a bass gain control but a simple dial knob at you fingertips is much easier while driving. I'd give it 5 stars if it had one. Great for the price though. ... show more

Ok so if you are looking for good thumping no distortion bass this sub is what u want. built in amp is no joke this thing is amazing it is definitely high quality and for the money it you cant beat it. Very easy to install. Be mindful if u don't ground it good it want turn on so be sure to do that. I would definitely recommend this sub .wow this thing realy thumps. ... show more

Absolutely zero literature included in package. No manual, instructions, nothing. Sub bottoms out using it's own amp. Returned it within 2 weeks. Purchased the Skar bass tube instead, night and day difference.
