I live in an old rental and the air flow is not what it needs to be so I decided to enhance the situation a little bit by buying one of these machines. This machine came delivered in a tall box and it was packed very professionally. All pieces were there and the instruction book was very clear. I set it up with no problems at all. The remote control is very handy!! I love that feature. You can set it to whatever temperature you want and it has many options. The room cools down nicely in just a short amount of time and the air flow goes outside with no problems at all. I couldn't quite figure out how the window slats worked by I got it settled where there are no air leaks from the outside. I can't really comment on the Energy Efficiency. I guess that all depends on how often it is use. However, the unit doesn't seem to work too much and doesn't sound loud at all in comparison to other units. Overall, I am very very happy with this product! Would recommend to anyone who might be looking for a way to cool down your room.

Been using this in my room for the passed week and considering returning. I do not have central air and my living room window unit does not reach. It's quick to cool the space, which is nice since I use it only when I'm going to bed. However, it does not turn back on once it indicates the room as reached the temperature that it's set to. This is inconvenient since, again, I'm using it when I sleep; therefore, I go to sleep with the temperature I want and wake up in the middle of the night in a sweat. Also, I enjoy some white noise when sleeping, but even the 'Low' setting could be a bit loud for some.

I have had this unit for less than a month. It was working really great up until yesterday. I noticed the AC was not cold anymore. When I compared the temperature to the fan, there was hardly any difference. I assumed that maybe the coils froze up, so I left it for 24 hours to thaw out. Unfortunately, there was even less of a difference in temperature. I saw this product had a different listing that was taken down and made unavailable. It has a lot of reviews with the same issue. Luckily I can return this item, but I will not be buying again. I also hated how loud it was. It really was incredibly loud. Furthermore, it didn’t do all that well at making my room cold as it only cooled what was directly in front of it. I recommend getting the Black and Decker one instead of this. It’s a waste of money.

If you are going to be using this for a bedroom you should probably run it before going to bed because it is little bit loud it’s not bad but if you not use to it probably will be very loud. Overall it keeps the room cool the overall performance it’s great I don’t have any problem with it. I must say it will shut off after hitting the temperature you have set it on but it will kick back on after a while and have a large container to collect the water when running the air conditioner overall I’m am very happy and satisfy with it

Unit cools room to set temperature and stops, as it should. Problem is as the room warms back up, the unit does not turn back on to cool on its own. AC set at 72, room will reach 78 degrees and it does nothing. You have to lower the set temp by 2 or 3 degrees for it to turn back on.

It works like a charm. My house's central air unit went out and it was idling at ~84 degrees inside the house. This couldn't have arrived at a better time. It has managed to keep the 3 upstairs bedrooms cool the last 2 days and the noise isn't bad at all, especially if you're used to running fans while you sleep anyways. My only gripe with this thing is that it just looks tacky hooked up to the window but that's such a small issue I can get over.

The media could not be loaded. I love absolutely everything about this portable AC unit! This has literally saved my life at our new apartment and allowed my wife and I to sleep soundly. I would comment on the portability of the unit itself, but I personally I have not moved it since the initial setup. I will say, this 8,000 BTU feels more like double on account it can free my entire 900 sqft apartment in less than 15 minutes. I love toggling between the modes and operating everything on the remote. What can I say? I’m a lazy guy and I love tech like this. I will say that during my setup with the hose to the window I did call customer service about a question concerning my particular window installation because I have a weird setup and the company’s support team really helped me out walking through every detail. Overall, I love this product and plan to buy more as gifts to other friends and family in the near future. This is by far the best portable AC I’ve come across, but I don’t think a lot of people know this brand. I gave them my business and it was very worth it for me. Thank you!
