The tarps are clear and work well to let the light through. The plastic is pretty thick and decent. I have been using them to cover things all year. In the cold weather the lining around the plastic breaks off. I still say this is a good tarp and suggest the purchase. When the lining breaks off just cut a hole and zip tie it to what your covering.

I like to test items before I give a review so this may be longer than you want to read: I liked this item. I used it on my deck during the winter to keep out the wind and cold rain. It worked well for me. I purchased four of these and used the zip ties (included) to connect them. Put cup holders around the top and sides of my deck to secure the tarp grommets in place. Then, tied it off using the windproof rope that was included. I enjoyed being protected by the elements and being able to use my deck more. I liked that I could look through them and see my winter flowers blooming in my yard. The tarps are not crystal clear; however, things aren’t just blurry blobs either like with the plastic you get at the hardware store. (It also seems to be a bit thicker) I was able to take these tarps down and I plan to reuse them next year. I did lose a couple grommets when we had some tornado type weather come through and the wind caught in the tarp. The wind was very high and I had more damage to my yard than a couple of grommets go missing. 🙂 In my opinion the tarps held up very well. They did not rip or tear. Mostly they flapped and I think the jerking from the wind is what made the grommets come loose. It was just one side and I think it was 2 grommets. All in all the tarps held up and worked great for what I needed. They were up for four months, if you were wondering the time frame.

Worked well for what I needed it for, just be prepared to buy your own zip ties. Bought 4 of these and each pack came with zip ties that didn't hold.(yes I double checked it wasn't user error but poor quality zip ties. The tarp itself was fine.

Not heavy duty. I hadn't even used this a whole week, for over my chicken run, and this morning I found it ripped at the seam. It's useless now. Very disappointed, I spent a lot of time and money hoping this would work, for nothing.
