Description

A unique curved bolster supports the professional pinch grip, with thumb and index finger on the blade, for safe cutting and less fatigue. The Chef's Knife blade was redesigned with a broader curve in the front to facilitate the rocking motion of Western cutting, while the straight back is ideal for the Asian chopping motion.     • Perfect set for a home chef, extremely sharp and is exactly as pictured and described online.
I am never too sure about the actual color of products I see online, however the Acacia color was quite close to the image I saw on Amazon and Zwilling websites and I am happy I chose that color for the knife block. I chose the more modern "Pro" set over the traditional full bolster set because of issues I've had in the past with sharpening the full length of the edge. I am glad I chose the Pro for this reason, the handle/grip is basically the same as the old (International) chefs knife I've used for years, in fact since the block had one extra empty slot I used that slot for my old knife and it fits fairly well. I also purchased a sharpener and touched up my old knife and now it's razor sharp too! The only thing I would recommend is that Zwilling package these knives in stronger sleeves and padding, these knives are razor sharp and do cut through the protective sleeves and cardboard they used to package them. None were chipped, marred or dull from shipping however it could happen since a few were completely out of their sleeves and touching. I would certainly recommend Zwilling knives, and Amazon delivered my set in just a couple days. This is a good purchase. ... show more

Just received the knife set, it arrived undamaged and looks great. Knives are extremely comfortable and perfect for those who prefer a pinch grip.

    • Finish on Chef knife handle isn't even.
The handle on the chef knife is uneven and the tang scrapes your hand when you hold it. Other than that they seem to be very nice knives. Rather disappointing that the knife I will use the most has this issue. One star taken away for this issue.

Missing 6 steak knives and handles damaged chefs knives damaged between handle and metal part of knife shocked and disappointed expensive set needed to use it for special occasion,had to borrow a neighbor's set embarrassing and uncomfortable moment.
