I spend way too much time figuring out what makes a perfect cup of coffee and this machine is designed with all that knowledge in mind. Love my coffee. I’m going on a trip for two months and taking my coffee machine with me. That said in California ants moved inside my coffee machine, in a quite clean cottage, laid eggs, gave no idea they were there and I literally cannot get them out.     • Great coffee maker, but
This is a great coffee maker but you will spend some time getting the measurements right and the water to ratio to taste. I think this has a lot to due with the fact that when I pour let’s say 4.5 cups from the pitcher into the back of the machine, well only 4 cups show on the back, so the pitcher measurement is off by .5 cups. It took me a while to get the ratio down, but once I did the coffee is seriously amazing. Great machine, just a lot of trial and error to figure out. ... show more

    • Works great, broke fast!
I own a coffeehouse and this brewer makes a great cup of coffee! Unfortunately the brew basket fell apart in the first month if use. Zwilling took two weeks to ship a similarly broken replacement. Now they want me to pay for shipping to return brewer, OMG!

I was very excited to order this coffee maker. It has a luxe appearance. Sadly it is mostly plastic, and the plastic doesn’t give me much confidence of longevity. If this had been in the $85-$100 range I would have kept it but I didn’t want to pay close to $200 for a coffee maker that might break in 3 months. Where are the instructions to set the clock and to program it? They don’t come in the pamphlet and there are no online videos about it. I’ve been trying to set it up almost an hour.
