I’ve been using these Happy Belly Light Roast pods as my everyday coffee, brewing 12 oz cups and drinking it black. For a light roast, it’s surprisingly smooth and well-balanced. Taste & brew: The flavor is bright and clean, very much in the “breakfast blend” category. It’s light but still flavorful, with no bitterness or sharp acidity that some light roasts can have. The finish is clean, and while the aroma isn’t especially strong (typical for single-serve pods), the cup itself is consistently pleasant. Comparison: Flavor-wise, it’s close to Green Mountain Breakfast Blend.
