Pro: product came as shown. Directions: Small print but manageable. Easy to follow. Unboxing, putting together with no problems, maybe 20-30 mins alone with no defects. With someone or others maybe faster. Basically, it's not IKEA so you won't hate each other. If ur looking for under bed storage, it's great. I bought the CalKing 18 inch height so be sure to measure what you want stored under the bed. The metal frame itself is sturdy and hardy once all the nails are tightened. I did the pull, push, rattle and shake test. As well as added some rxtra nuts to the nails (my preference). The matress can go on top of frame, it is fine. Out od old habit and preference, I used a wood board from before. The picture is with examples of items stored underneath. Con: look at picture with letter 'P'. This is not a con for me as I was able to make the hole line up to put the screws in. For those who hate having to line up and struggle, it would be a con. This one I bought had only two uneven 'holes' for screw 'P'. Again, if your not up to jimmy, shake, rattle and roll even one unlined hole, you can reconsider it but two is better than the all. Other hints: #1. nails. Take a picture of the plastic nail enclosure as the labels rip off with the plastic when opened. If this happens refer to the middle of page one directions. Refer to nail picture. #2. Bed height. measure you mattress, box spring (if u still want to use it), add the height of the frame desired then total all height. This will be the height of your bed off the ground. Example: inches= 18 (frame) +8 (boxspring) +8 (mattress) = 34 inches tall or 18+8= 26 inches. CM= 45.72 cm + 20.32+20.32= 86.36. For the cost this is a great frame. I bought this for my memory foam mattress in a king size. It was super easy to assemble and we love the storage underneath. My only minor complaints is the mattress shifts and slides a few inches after a night of sleep. Our combined weight for me and my husband is under 250 lbs so not sure why , also the bar in the middle of the frame is a bit of a nuisance bc we stun our feet on it often. But it’s a great price for what it is. ... show more

    • So Far Not Bad, But A couple small concerns and came a little beat up....

3 stars so far. The S screw and O ring do not tighten properly as someone mentioned in the q&a for this page. They do not tighten all the way. Hopefully it is just an aesthetic issue and not a sturdiness issue, but time will tell. Still waiting almost 2 weeks on the mattress I ordered from amazon, so I cannot comment on the sturdiness of the frame as I have not been able to sleep on it yet, but otherwise it seems okay to good otherwise. I had to return the first frame I ordered (from a different company on amazon) and this one seems MUCH heartier thus far, so it has that going for it. It was fairly easy to put together. Some of the pieces are different, but are zip tied together, so there was a good 10 minute of panic when I thought this product was missing pieces like my last nightmare bed frame order and I was about to lose it. But they were just hidden together within the packaging. So make sure you take *everything* out and set it all aside, removed from each bag, before freaking out. That said, I am 97% certain I received someone else's return/used product which rubs me the wrong way. If it does end up being sturdy enough with my mattress I can't handle the thought of disassembly and returning the product, but I would have appreciated a discount or some explanation as to why my tools and screws and all that came open and loose, there are parts of the black metal rubbed off that show silver through, and the box looked like it had been opened and taped back by someone not affiliated with a professional company. Edited to add: The seller did not ask me to change this review, but I was so impressed with how they handled it that I wanted to let everyone know they responded immediately and made it more than right. Still not sure how it will hold up until I can use it for a bit, but I am satisfied with how they respond to issues and would give them another chance, hands down. ... show more

I bought a very expensive mattress/box spring combo around 11 years ago and it sat in storage for a year. So my 10 year old (use) pillow top mattress was still in great shape, but the box spring was broken when my grand kids were jumping on "PaPa's" bed. once those slats were broken it became a very uncomfortable way to sleep, and now I'm bed-ridden. FFWD to last week when we moved and I said I was NOT taking the broken box spring I needed an alternative. This inexpensive bedframe is MIRACULOUS! It is 18" tall with 16" of storage underneath! My bed is stable and super comfortable, and I had 4 good-sized adults sit on it and bounce, and it didn't lose its shape or bend or anything.
