Beautiful tree! 7.5 came in two small boxes. I was surprised at how good the tree finally looked after coming out of those boxes. Be sure to watch the fluffing video on balsam hill website. I spent about 6 hours fluffing before I finally found the video.

After many years, it was time to retire our old, thread-bare artificial Christmas tree. Though pricey, the Balsam Hill 7.5-foot tree looked like a nice replacement, so we ordered it through Amazon. The new tree arrived in two large, well-packed boxes, just five days later. The four sections of the tree (bottom to top) were in the boxes along with a tool kit, extra lights and fuses, two tree storage bags, two pairs of gloves for fluffing the tree branches once the tree is erected, and a nice long electrical cord and foot-operated off/on switch for the lights. The excellent/clear setup instructions for the tree were in English one can understand. Following the instructions, my wife and I had the tree fully erected in 90 minutes. Working from the bottom section upward, we fitted each tree section easily into the one below. All the electrical connections (tree section-by-tree section) are made automatically; there is no need to hunt for light strings and plugs hidden in the branches with this Balsam Hill tree. We are astonished at how beautiful, realistic, and shapely the 7.5-foot tree is. Yes, it may cost more than some, but in our view it has been worth every penny. We had one minor quibble. Our tree arrived without three “eye bolts” necessary for securing the tree stand base to the lowest section of the tree. The Balsam Hill Help Desk said replacements bolts would be sent, but they wouldn’t arrive at our house for an unacceptable seven to 10 days. (Our replacement bolts arrived in exactly seven days, USPS.) In other words, don’t plan a tree-decorating party until you are sure have all the parts in hand! ... show more

I always have a live tree. This year I decided to get a fake tree. This balsam Hill fir tree is beautiful, it looks real, and you can move the branches to make it more full and also move the branches to accommodate heavier ornaments. It came in three sections labeled 1,2,3 and a zipper storage bag! I highly recommend this tree. ... show more

It looks fantastic though lights on the lowest section were out. Balsam Hill was excellent in responding to a direct call and getting it fixed. Assembly is easy though it takes forever to fluff the tree.

Very expensive tree if not on sale (we paid $1,600, obviously not on sale). But it's magnificent. The twinkle lights are awesome and we haven't even used the app to get the fancy routines available online. It comes with 5 pre-programmed settings. Like a lot of things these days, it's a computer with a tree wrapped around it. Easy to set up and about 30 minutes to "fluff" it. The intructions could be better. Fluff each level before adding the next, with lights on so tou can see the distribution as you go along. Takes ornaments of all sizes and shapes. Just bend the limbs to accommodate. ... show more

Do not buy, trying to get spare parts such as a master fuse bulb is a non starter. Balsam hill won’t sell directly as product was bought via Amazon )even thought it was an 3rd party sale) Absolutely awful brand and product experience.

This was scheduled for delivery 11 days away and Balsam Hill had it delivered in 4 days. Super company to work with! This is a nice full size tree, maybe a slight more prickly than some of my other Balsam trees but they send you gloves when working on it. Not prickly like a live spruce would be.
