Great performance, extra control features. I have installed many of the top brand and top price mini split systems. I wanted to get one for my garage, but I couldn't justify the high cost. So I gambled and bought one of these. To my surprise the Garvee mini split was much better than I ever expected. Looking over the unit I was surprised by the quality of the product. It's been installed for 2 months now, no issues and cools the garage and cycles on a 90 degree day. Can't comment on the heating performance yet but I have no doubt it will perform better than expected.

Decent product, Terrible Long Term Support

The mini-split itself has worked well but only because I studied a while on “how to properly install”.. Including vacuuming lines. One installation tip.. do not use the factory lines sent with the split system. Buy a well known brand. Worth the money… It’s worked in our enclosed cargo trailer for a year now. But finally had a small leak leaving us miserable in the Texas Sun. $260 to repair. You’re looking at R410A refrigerant, 2.5lbs in the system. Now… The support experience has been extremely disappointing. After purchasing the unit, I discovered that the original manufacturer is very difficult to contact. The support information has been confusing, the branding appears to have changed… or it was always “acekool?” and getting help for replacement parts or future service has been nearly impossible. I rely on this unit for my small business, so long-term support matters just as much as the product itself. I reached out multiple times looking to purchase a spare indoor unit or replacement parts and have received no response. Amazon was of little help too. If you’re buying this, understand that you may be on your own if you ever need parts or technical support. A product is only as good as the company standing behind it, and that has been the biggest disappointment.

Arrived on time with all pieces. Easy to install. My husband and I installed on second floor room running down to 1st floor. Paid an A/C guy to flare. Bought almost a year ago. Heating and cooling still working. It's in an extra room that we don't use all the time. I did buy the extended warranty due to previous ratings.

Don't sleep near it!

Works well, but has one major problem, as the unit adjusts temperature, the indoor unit makes creaks, pops, and sudden loud cracking noises as the various components inside expand at different rates due to CTE (Coefficient of Thermal Expansion). Poor engineering in this aspect. Avoid getting if you will be sleeping near the indoor unit! (Note: I am an Engineer)
