This may be helpful to others, so posting since I did not get an answer from the company: I've had the blind and working fine for over a year however the LED light started blinking repeatedly (one long followed by two short), so runs the battery down in a few days. The blind has been fully charged and works properly with the remote. I messaged the company to assist with problem solving. They asked for the order number, then a couple days later asked for a video. I sent both. It's been two weeks now without a further response. MY SOLUTION: I let the shade drain all the way (no LED light) which took several days. I then re-charged and it is working fine now.

Only 4 stars because I only just got them installed and am still working on programing the 6-channel remotes to move the shades separately and together. What happened was I installed the one, plugged in the charger, got the LED light and it did what it was supposed to do with the remote. Install the second one. Same deal, all good. Install the third one. Plugged it in, no LED. Worked the remote programming still no red light. I then emailed ZShine support at 7:44PM. They emailed back at 8:07PM, 23 minutes later, asking for a video of what I was trying to do and what was or wasn't happening. I did and sent it to them at 8:51PM. By 9:11PM they had downloaded and analyzed the video and replied to me that a difficult-to-see on-off slider switch looked to be in the off position, for me to check that, and put it in the 'on' position if it was indeed off. I did so and it worked. OK, so, I feel like a dope for not noticing that switch, but there was nothing in the instructions about it that I could find. The point is, I have never had this kind of support from anyone and I was blown away. Simple problem, yes. But they found the problem quickly and got right back to me with a solution.

The blinds work well, easy instruction to link between the remote and the motors. Receive only 1 cable/charger for a total of 4 blinds order, but i didn't care at the time. 6 months later, it became annoying to plug/unplug to charge the motors every month. Reach out to ZSHINE, communication was fast. After a few emails explanation, today I received a package of 4 cables/chargers. Email exchange and shipping = total of 6 working days ==> super fast. ZSHINE really stands behind their product. And for that, earned my 5-stars rating.

Instruction and Video sucks🥵…After scratching my head until it’s almost bleeding, I finally figured how to install (has extra parts?), reverse direction, set upper and lower positions and fine adjusted. It works as designed and I am pleased with it. PS…video says it shakes, what they mean is it moves🤷♂️. Something so simple made difficult, but hey…everything made in China😜. I opened the box, done in 30 minutes (next one 10 minutes). Careful there may be other videos ==> “Me am learn you drive car well” 😂🤣

I've had these for almost two years now and remain very pleased. I did an interior mount, and it was difficult to get the brackets screwed in but no more so than any other blind I've installed. Since this was for a baby-room, it had to be blacked out. There are several comments in the reviews to the effect that, "Light leaks around the sides!" My son's a radiologist, so I'm an expert with blackout blinds. Here's the key tip: Side channels are essential! If you don't do side and bottom channels, interior-mount blinds will NOT be blackout. Buy side channels online and install them so that light finds it difficult to leak around the sides of the blinds. A bottom channel is also required, and I found some convenient extruded aluminum U-channel at Home Depot for about $12. When lowered, the darkening is really impressive. If I wanted to tune it even more, I would use felt between the side-channels and the wall, and install additional material at the top of the blind where light leaks OVER the roll. That last leak is the hardest to fix, and plastic foam sprayed black has worked there in other projects. Still, this was fine for my grandbabies to sleep in darkness in the middle of the daytime. Finally, this blind requires periodic recharging. The wood valance is held on by strong magnets, but it can be yanked down in a minute and a phone-charger battery tops off the blinds in less than an hour. I probably charge less than twice a year, but don't use the blinds daily. The remote control worked fine for local use, but at the time I wanted home automation control over the blinds too. It is NOT a Zigbee motor, but a Bond Bridge (BD-1000, not the Pro version) that I use for ceiling fans was able to clone the remote-control signals giving me full access from Google Home, SmartThings, Home Assistant, etc. It runs through the Bond cloud of course, but that's been fast and reliable. I would buy them again, except I'm going for all-Zigbee going forward. If that's not a problem, they're a great deal and very versatile.
