  • Beast of a card
Style: GTX 1070 Mini Pattern: Card
If you want to enter the upper range of GPU's without spending 400+ bucks, the Zotac GTX 1070 mini is a phenomenal card. The cooling on this card is fantastic (I know that being a "mini" card, lots of people will want to know how well the fans and heatsinks perform). This card has a beefy heat sink system to it. The fans do an amazing job of cooling the card down after hours of gaming and it getting warm. At idle, temps are staying right around 38 to low 40's C. At first I had an issue where the card was continuously keeping its clocking speeds up for high performance, even at "idle." I think it was possibly due to a BIOS issue. My BIOS seemed to correct itself after installing the Firestorm software that was included with the card. After a couple hours of gaming, with fans either completely off or running at 3%, the card seems to be maxing at around 61 C. And by manually kicking the fans up to 30% using the Firestorm software, the gpu cools down super quickly back down into the 40s, in less than a minute. The fans are barely audible at 30%, and in my opinion, if you're going to game for several hours in a gpu intensive game, I would recommend going ahead and setting your fans to 20-30% as a good method of keeping things nice and cool without having to blast them. I think in auto mode, the fans kick on around 61 C, and at around 3-7% speed. Which, seems to be enough to keep the card hovering at that temperature. The fans are surprisingly quiet at any range on up to 45%-ish, I would say. As for video performance, this card is a beast. Running all games at max settings at 1080p easily at 100 FPS+. Also, as for VR, I downloaded and ran Steam's VR performance test, and I quote the results, "your system is performing well above what is needed for recommended, high quality VR!" Various benchmark tests and "Can I Run It" tests all indicate this gpu is in the 93rd to 97th percentile in video performance. I snagged the zotac gtx 1070 mini at around $333. Just wait around, watch the stock and prices. Sometimes this card dips as low as $329. My only complaint is how this card is shipped. It was shipped to me in just the Zotac box, rather than inside another box with air bubbles. Seems like it could get damaged easily during shipping being shipped out in this minimalistic manner. • 1080p Maximum Settings Bone Crushing Machine And Unstoppable Power In AAA Games.
Style: GTX 1070 Mini Pattern: Card
I tried I desperately tried to bog this card down on my Acer 1080p display and I can't!! First and foremost Zotac makes really nice cards that have great warranty's if they stop working. Asus/MSI/Gigabyte quality undoubtedly and possibly better. This GTX 1070 compared to my 1050 ti which is already an awesome card is ridiculously fast and does not take up too much space in my mid tower. I game at 1080p but run everything on ultra. So this card is most likely going to last me for years and years. I really think Zotac is an unsung hero for PC gamers. I love to play video games, it does not matter if I am playing my PlayStation 1, 2, 3 or 4. "PC master race?" I don't subscribe to that camp but my workstation/gaming computer is as such; Everything air cooled and chilly. Asus Prime Z270 Prime-P I7 7700 65W non-k +Intel BXTS15A cooler Corsair Vengeance 2400Mhz Zotac GTX 1070 Samsung Evo 960 Corsair 100R Silent Series Thermaltake 650w Bronze Never had a top tier level card for gaming. I usually go for the budget cards which was a Zotac GTX 1050 Ti a fantastic card for gaming, but I wanted premium. Its nice to have my gtx 1050 ti as a backup in case I need to RMA this which I doubt I will have to. This card sort of needs a metal back plate but since the price was much lower than other 1070's I think that is the reason this card is of noticeably lower cost. I happened to luck out and get this card for $287 being a prime member and getting their credit card+giftcard deal in the right time. It really pays off to be an Amazon Prime Member BIGTIME! Thank you Amazon!!!!!!!!!!!!! You Rock!!!!! ... show more

  • Good card in a hard to cool case
Style: RTX 2070 Super Mini Pattern: Card
I have this in a node 202, not an easy case to cool as you’ll see. I installed a Corsair 240mm radiator on the outside of the 2 120mm fan slots, the fans are inside as they would be in an unmodified case in the GPU section pulling air through the radiator into the case (hope that makes sense), the radiator is cooling the CPU, i7 9700, I also drilled vent holes in the bottom of the case and put the case on a custom stand (when standing vertically with the GPU on the bottom). My old card was a 1060, it ran in the high 60s to low 70s. I wasn’t sure if a full size 2070 super would fit with the hoses for the radiator so I got the mini version, which is actually shorter than the 1060 I had. When I first installed the card I was hitting the 83 degree target temp and throttling. I adjusted the fan curves on the radiator and video card and was getting around 80 degrees but with a ton of noise. I replaced the Corsair fans with Noctua NF-12a fans, I was able to slow down the fans on the GPU a bit and now I’m getting temps in the mid 70s without a ton of noise, not silent but easily blocked with headphones. The GPU is turboing to 1995mhz without any change from the default settings for the GPU. Overall I’m very happy I can run 3x 1080 monitors with high frame rates. ... show more

  • Hands-Down, Best RTX2070 Super for $$$
Style: RTX 2070 Super Mini Pattern: Card
I've used Zotac products in the past, and while here in the USA they are not as popular as EVGA or MSI, Zotac continues to produce exceptional hardware at an attractive price. This RTX Super Mini Variant highlights Zotac's willingness to explore form factors other manufacturers may view as "niche'" or "unconventional." This card's dimensions enable it to fit comfortably in ITX cases. Myself, I use it in a DLM 21 Mech Matx case. It's an RTX Super, and it's performance is comparable to that of longer and larger-cooler sku's. This card runs warm. In a well-ventilated case and in a cool room, the card hovers at around 76 degrees Celsius. There is no fan-stop function on this card. The fans will always spin and carry with it some level of noise. However, performance it's fantastic and at this price you can't go wrong. I highly recommend this card over any other 2070 supers. ... show more

  • Hey it fits (SORT OF, YIKES) LOL
Style: RTX 2070 Super Mini Pattern: Card
Oh boy, someone didn't do his reading too well when he bought this card to shove into a Ghost Canyon NUC. They weren't kidding when they said you can put a max length card of 8in in the NUC, but I'm an adventurous chap. Managed to fit it in sans the front plastic shroud. Which I'll probably just saw down a bit (remove the sharp pointy pizazz since they're literally doing nothing but taking up unnecessary space) Since right now there isn't a faceplate on the card and the blades are a bit exposed. BUT HEY it fits and it works. No longer is 2070 by ASUS the largest you can go. Thanks ZOTAC, I will void my warranty. In conclusion, it works, do I recommend what I did? NO, since without the shroud the fan blades are exposed and it took a lot of dexterity to fit it in the NUC and away from the blades. Also I think this card is JUST a tad too tall for comfort sake, GOOD on Intel putting that fan grate in front of the fan above the GPU power connector. This took a lot of wrangling. BUT I GOT it to work. ... show more

  • Awesome card!
Style: RTX 2070 Super Mini Pattern: Card
Got this card because I prefer smaller cards & all of the recent RTX offerings (minus maybe the 2060) have been massive. Mainly the issue I had was that my mainboard has a chipset fan right near the top PCIE slot & larger video cards would impede airflow to it. I got this card figuring it would be easier & wasn't disappointed...it still covers a small part of the chipset fan but there's still plenty of room for airflow. So far it's been a dream with my 144Hz monitor & chomps through anything I throw at it in 1440p resolution. Pretty quiet card too, has some decent overclocking headroom as well & so far I haven't had to ramp the fans up past maybe 65% speed, even then it was mainly for beta or new release games that were more taxing & had ray tracing features enabled. ... show more

  • Great performance. Runs cool. Pick over the Gigabyte ITX option.
Style: GTX 1070 Mini Pattern: Card
Performance is very good. On par with other GTX 1070s. Recommend over the Gigabyte ITX card (see bottom of review for reasoning)I'm not going to get into numbers, but look up at any GTX 1070 and the performance is right there. The size of this guy is fantastic. I have it fitting in a Lian Li TU100b chassis. The dual fans keep the thing running at or around 75c under full load. The Zotac FireStorm software for monitoring and changing settings is pretty good as well. Very easy to understand layout and useful information. Would definitely recommend this over the Gigabyte 1070 ITX. I came from the Gigabyte GTX 970 ITX. Whey they decided to remove most of the ports on the back of that card baffles me. This card has the full array of ports you would expect on a 1070. I use all 3 displayports on 3 x LG 4k 27UD68 displays. Works great. ... show more
