Water cooled with Bykski block using Kryonaut and Fujipoly extreme. Flashed with Zotac 2080Ti AMP Extreme bios. On top the Extreme's specs, simple overclock using MSI Afterburner's OC Scanner @112%, Memory +104, boosts up to 2130mhz. Card does not exceed 40C. No audible coil whine like my older 1080ti on water. Additional specs to note: 8086K @ 5.3ghz all cores with 50x uncore, 64gb ddr4 @ 3500mhz (not in loop), Gigabyte Z370 Gaming 7 w/monoblock covering power and cpu, using Samsung 750 Evo 500gb OS drive, AData 8200 Pro 1tb game drive, used on a tv HDMI @4k HDR, HDMI audio turned off. Game most played: Kenshi @ 4k somehow the game can run HDR by alt-tabbing to Windows then back to game, modded with Tsuki reshade, uncompressed textures, all graphics settings maxed, squad size 1.75, global pop 2.25, town raid 1.75, Town attacks frequency bombardment. No crashes even with game speed maxed and squad of 114 running around my outpost. Even though the game benefits most from a powerful CPU the 2080ti made scrolling across the landscape much smoother. FPS is 30-70 depending upon how many zones, which zones, and number of spawned NPCs. See screen shots of zones The Eye, Swamp, and my outpost. I get decent framerates with quality visuals. I got this card only because I moved to playing primarily on a 4k TV, its potential for overclocking/flashing, the availability of a waterblock that COMPLETELY cools the power section, and it was on sale. The stock cooling is NOT sufficient and gets loud under load. Without water, I would not overclock or flash to a higher model in AMP the series. Might experiment with a different bios but for now the card does what it needs to do and is stable. I paid $1099 on Amazon for the Maxx and $150 for the water block (Amp Extreme version same PCB as Maxx directly from Bykski US). If it wasn't on sale I'd probably get any Founders Edition A version card on sale and watercool or the Gigabyte Extreme Waterforce. ... show more

I'm a big Zotac fan, with a 1070 ti mini, a 1660 ti, and a 2080 ti for my personal rig. I've tried 2 other brands but Zotac always worked great. Pros. 2080 ti amp extreme looks great in my case. Got a phanteks lux with a nice aio on an 8700k running 5.1 ghz. This card has great customizable lights, and it works great with my case. Performance is awesome as well. I may just be winning the lottery with these zotac cards, but my 2080ti is consistently between 97 and 99th percentile for performance on pc benchmark. The 1070 ti around 95, and the 1660 ti around 92. Very happy with these products. The 2080 ti is also keeping remarkably cool under heavy loads. I nornally don't go over 60 degrees even running triple monitors, one at 144hz 2k, one at 60 hz 4k, and a junk panel. Demanding games as well, like the unoptimized Ark, even run great on this card. The card isn't very loud in my case, but I've got a nice case which dampens it a lot, and if I left the side panel open it does get a little loud. Not as loud as my case fans though, and I could always drop the fan speeds and deal with higher temps. Cons Expensive, it is a 2080 ti. You pay for zero compromise, it wont be cost effective. Size. Big card. Not much extra room even in my case, so be careful with dimensions. Even screwed in properly there is a tiny bit of sag, which might look bad with level hardline tubing. Some people say their cards die shortly after getting it. I've had mine for over a year with 0 degredation of performance, going on 2 years. Maybe they overclocked too hard, maybe they pointed an AC at their pc and condensation killed it, maybe they got unlucky or I got lucky. Can't speak beyond my card. Mine is working perfectly though, even with high manual overclocks. Zotac, you have a new customer for life. Don't change! ... show more

Got GPU on a Wednesday and on a Thursday it died after a few hours of gaming. Fastest GPU I have ever used and probably will use for a good bit time but the card has a bad coil whine to it and then died. The card has a black screen of death and after tearing apart my system and testing every part for any issues and even preforming a hard while on OS drive and testing different drivers I have come to say that this GPU just is broken and when ever any power load is put into it the GPU black screens/dies. When I reached out for a possibility to replace the card from Amazon the only option from Zotac through Amazon was just for a refund and nothing else. Safe to say I'm disappointed by the card for dieing like it did but when it was working it ran 80-100fps in 4k ultra so there was that. ... show more

So i have the 2080 ti amp edition and it is a good card , decided to sell that build and build a new one for 2019 . The Zotac 2080 ti extreme is fast . The amp edition would boost its self to 1820-1900 which is good and it performed very well , it lacked rgb except for the "zotac gaming " on the side of the card . This card boost clock is 1955-2040 depending on what title i am playing . And the RGB is great if you into that sort of thing . I have not tried to overclock this card , because i simply don't see a reason too since its already over 2000 in most titles . Now it does run hot , my old amp card would run at 63c max , the extreme runs at 73-75c . The max temp limit is 84c like most rtx cards . I went into the fan setting and change it from auto and set my own fan curve . That brought it down to 65c on a full load . So if you want a fast card out of the box you don't need to overclock yourself , i fully recommend this card for you . DO keep in mind all cards all different i believe the term is silicon lottery , and i do believe i got a very good card out of it . ... show more
