Winch appears to be well made 6000# version. Took a while to figure out the remote, instructions on Amazon were not correct, nothing in manual about remote. The manual is worthless and you are left to figure it out.

Works excellent for loading my 1/2 ton truck on a uhaul car hauler to bring it home. I have a double hitch mount and had the trailer on the lower hitch and this winch in the upper while pulling the truck onto the trailer. I added battery clamps to hook it up for use. I used the remote to pull it while steering the truck exactly onto the trailer. Nice long range for the remote.

Installed with no problem on my little jeep tj. I had to downsize to a small one due to grill guard but happy as I don’t off-road too much. Wireless remote worked as well as wired no issue. I suggest wiring in a winch quick disconnect to disconnect while not in use to minimize as power draw issues that could happen randomly. As well as a winch cover to keep the synthetic cable from sun. Happy so far and will update if any issues.

This was reassuring, as shipping heavy equipment can often result in bumps and scrapes. However, there were a few areas where the product could be improved: 1. **Mounting Plate**: The winch plate was small enough to fit my SUV, which is great, but it lacked sufficient pre-drilled holes for easy installation.
