Works good but 1 camera is bad (no night vision) working on getting a replacement. I replaced a old system with this one. some reviews say bad night vision, I think they might need to adjust light and contrast settings.

I have already installed an 8 camera system and so this was a replacement. Put my old hard drive into the DVR, no problems and easy formatting. Cameras easily changed out. Better quality than old system I had. Got a new power supply battery backup and oddly enough one camera goes down when there is a wind storm, lighting, or butterfly hiccup. It's odd. Unplug and replug the camera to dissipate charge and we are back in business. ... show more

Camera and DVR work well. Easy to setup except instructions are poor. Instructions don't explain all the possible settings, However there are online videos that help a bit, but the version of software on the DVR is newer than the one shown in the videos. Tech support was responsive and helped fill in the blanks. Thank you Slina & Mia. My only issue has been every few days one of the cameras drops signal and I have to power cycle the camera by unplugging the power and plugging it back in. Night vision is very good but motion detection has a problem with weather. Next time I'll go with PIR cameras. ... show more
