The ZOSI 4K PoE security camera system is a very decent and budget friendly system with a lot of features. I did deduct one star and that was mainly for the app that is installed on my phone. First off, it was overly difficult just to get it registered in my opinion. Also, once it was set up and connected to the NVR, the speed of getting to live feeds was extremely slow. Both the NVR and my phone were connected to my home system when testing, so LAN connection speed was not an issue. I believe the issue is in the NVR itself. I don't think the NVR has a lot of processing power to show you live feeds on the app quickly. Compared to my Lorex system, live video is displayed in seconds even when I'm away from my house and connected to 5g cellular on my phone. Being that the app is how most people will interact with the NVR, I wished the app was more faster. As for the rest of the system itself, it checks all the boxes and is really easy to setup. One thing to note is, this does come with a 2gb hard drive which is really nice! The included cameras were connected and detected by the system immediately. I even tried connecting a couple other branded IP cameras up to this system. This ZOSI NVR was easily able to add these other cameras using the ONVIF authenticated protocol. The system also has features such as human and vehicle detection which is nice for when you want notifications on your phone of any action going on at your home or business. The cameras feel solid as well! The exterior housing is very durable and all metal so it should hold up to the weather outside. I wouldn't say there is a true 100' night vision range to these cameras though. Sure, the IR lights may throw out light that far, but for clarity purposes in the dark, a good 50 feet is probably what I would call it. I think all night vision cameras on the market exaggerate their range a little bit. I won't know about camera longevity as these cameras were just installed. I thought my Lorex cameras were nice, until a couple years later and 6 out of 8 had become blurry. So you just never know how long the physical cameras will last outside in the heat and cold. Overall, I'm impressed with this functional ZOSI security camera system. Based on the quality and features of the NVR and cameras, the ease of setup, and especially the price point, I consider them a good value even if the app is a little slow.

The big feature with this system is a 2 TB, 3.5 inch, SATA drive built for NVR service. It is a complete system (except for monitor) and the biggest hassle getting a fully functional surveillance system is mounting the cameras and routing the cables to them. It does work offline. The cameras have a 4mm f1.0 lens which is less of a wide angle, meaning less image distortion, than many cameras found in these ‘home’ systems. I don’t notice much difference for what I need the camera to see. The NVR case is a horizontal profile with three status LED’s and a USB port on the front. There are QR codes for the device and for the ZOSI app on the top front of the case. I think the power switch is also a nice feature. The case has a small, rather noisy, fan. The second stream channel is fixed at legacy TV resolution. Night lighting is not fully configurable. As seems usual, the NVR software doesn’t know what to do with a keyboard on the USB port (the underlying OS does recognize it because a common three finger salute to shutdown does get a response) but at least you can leave the password blank or disable login entirely and eliminate the hassle of on screen, mouse activated, text input for this. The documentation online is more than just a quick setup guide. The software has a simple menu structure with each selection described in the online manual. It does get rather frustrating at times trying to find things. My attempts to access an NVR web interface page via the LAN IP address failed. That’s going to take some effort to figure out. The NVR also did not recognize an alien camera plugged into it. The NVR assigns addresses on a separate subnet (IPC menu item shows this) so it should be able to pick up another camera. The NVR does OK with the ZOSI cameras but doesn’t provide a whole lot of configuration capability. I am going to have to play around with cameras directly attached to my router to see what they do and how they work. It’s all there. It works. It may be a bit clunky but the video looks good and the app provides decent access to alarms and notifications.

This camera system sucks it really sucks ass they work fine for the first month or two now I can barely even get the cameras to connect and then when you do it takes it a minute or two to even connect by then or something outside what's going on you would never see it so buyer be aware stay away money spent for nothing
