First, I'd like to say I don't typically review most things I order. With that being said I told the tech support person (Cathy) that I would. By the way, she was very helpful with resolving my issues with this system! I will say I've installed alot of zosi systems over the years on multiple properties for myself, family and friends. So, I will say that these cameras have a great picture quality! Very crisp and the color night vision is a great feature! The audio quality is great inside but outside its not great. But, thats to be expected. Some issues that I have had is the system would record for approximately 24hrs then once I would try to replay the footage it would constantly reboot till I formatted the HDD. Making recording useless. Once I changed out the harddrive that issue was resolved. I had this issue with 2 nvrs. Another problem that I had was every time I viewed the cameras from my phone the nvr would reboot. Which was very frustrating. That issue has been resolved now with several times of upgrading the firmware. It seems that alot of bugs and glitches have been overlooked when they made this system which made me very frustrated having to deal with. Especially since this in not a cheap system! Now, after contacting customer support and going through a ton of steps they decided to send me a new NVR. Since I had to send it back before they would send me a replacement NVR. I didn't want to be without cameras recording I decided to purchase a second NVR to use while waiting for the replacement. That NVR also had several of the same issues including a issue with the harddrive. I've since done alot of upgrading the firmware and dealing with alot of bugs. It is currently working as it should and I've not tested the new replacement NVR yet. Overall, I would say this system has alot of great things going for it. The main thing being the human detection which is very good! The firmware and mobile app leaves alot of room for improvement. Once those 2 thing have been ironed out I think it will be a great system. The tech support is very helpful though in my experience. In closing... I can't say I'd recommend this system yet with its flaws and I don't think that I would purchase it again.

I bought the ZOSI 4PACK 1920TVL 1080P 4-in-1 HD TVI/CVI/AHD/CVBS Security Cameras 100ft Night Vision CCTV Cameras Home Security Day/Night Waterproof Camera for 960H/ 720P / 1080N / 1080P Analog DVR Systems cameras to start replacing a 10 year old camera system already in place that was starting to become more of a nuisance than a surveillance system. The old cameras became so bad that someone walking directly in front of the cameras couldn’t be identified 10 feet away. Because I work in a prison, I have higher security surveillance in some areas and less critical lower security surveillance in others. I chose 3 different camera styles with different viewing capabilities for the areas I was trying to surveil. One of the requirements I had to have was total compatibility with my current system and there was no problem with any of the cameras that I hooked up- basically plug and play. After reviewing footage of these cameras, I was extremely impressed with the clarity of the video and in the application I needed these cameras for, I had to have a wide angle view to cover a lot of ground. I then installed 2 (for a total of 8 cameras) ZOSI 4 Pack 2.0 Megapixel HD 1080P 4 in 1 TVI/CVI/AHD/CVBS Security Cameras Day Night Waterproof Camera 100ft IR Distance For HD-TVI, AHD, CVI, and CVBS/960H analog DVR System cameras for roof placement and my larger areas like the gymnasium. While I was installing one of the cameras, as soon as it was turned on, it fogged up and gave me a “No Signal” error. I replaced it with a spare that I had and had no further problems. Image quality was phenomenal and I had better coverage than my previous setup. The last 4 cameras I bought were ZOSI 2.0 Megapixel HD 1080P 4 in 1 TVI/CVI/AHD/CVBS Security Cameras Day Night Waterproof Camera 65ft IR Distance, Compatible for HD-TVI, AHD, CVI, and CVBS/960H analog DVR ones that replaced some of my internal cameras around our Culinary department and visiting areas. And again, I had no complaints with the quality of the images. After about a month of continuous use, one of my first 4 cameras displayed images that began to turn green, then purple, and then faded to black. I had lost the image completely. As I only had access to email since I work graveyards and most people are comfortably asleep in their beds, I contacted Zosi Customer Service and explained the circumstances of my failed cameras. Within a day, Coco had contacted me for more details of the malfunctions. After I sent model and serial numbers for the defective cameras, she sent me two replacement cameras without waiting for the faulty ones to be sent in. For me, that was a first! The usual process has always been- File a claim, wait for a return label, wait for the company to receive the product, then wait some more for them to tell me it was something I did, then argue back and forth until they reluctantly send me a replacement. In this case- not a single complaint about how the claim was handled and Coco was absolutely great! She was able to get back with me within a day or two at most and had all my questions answered and new cameras sent to me- all right before Christmas! Thanks for such an awesome experience!!!

Bought a system and installed it but it hasn’t recorded anything since it was installed. Keeps telling me disk lost. Been working with customer service for a week but it has taken forever due to company only using email to troubleshoot. It’s no number you can call and speak to someone. I was asked if I had a new hard drive and power cord to try. I didn’t buy a $700 system and think I would need to order new hard drive and power cord as a backup in case the system wouldn’t work. I tested the system before installing and it recorded but I didn’t leave it running long before installing. At this time I am waiting on shipping label to send NVR back. We will see how the new one works once received.
