This isn't my first security system, but if I ever need another one, I'll happily get this one again. Video quality, excellent. Installation, easy Set-up, almost automatic. All you have to do is plug it in, scan the QR codes and viola - the entire thing falls into place and you are up and running.

4K resolution is a great value at this price. Setup and deployment are easy. Hardware setup using the included mouse is twitchy. Having a 4K monitor(not included) is a plus. Setting up and using the Zosi app is fairly easy. Found the dvr and displaying the live view is fat and straightforward. However, the playback time seems to be off by a few hours. The playback time shown on the pc software is correct. Navigating the app and pc software playback tends to be jumpy and not smooth. Control is not as responsive but that could be the phone or pc. Finally, the pc software can not zoom in to make the letters bigger on a 4K monitor. As usual, the app seems to stop from time to time. Restart app to continue. Inconvenient. ... show more

    • APP DOES NOT WORK
The cameras work well on monitor, great build quality but the app does not work at all. The app takes 30 seconds to connect to the cameras and once connected, the low quality video fezzes after 30 seconds or so. The HD quality does not work at all. The video freezes and after doing research, i discovered this is a common problem. If you want to view this offline, I do not recommended it. ... show more

I rarely write reviews but this 4K DVR rig and cameras motivated me. It includes all necessary cords (HDMI, 60 ft. BNC camera cords, power supplies and ethernet). Instructions could be better but are unnecessary because everything was labeled well. My use is a bit unusual. We built a kitchen that had no windows so I hooked up the system to a 4K TV we have above our sink to emulate one. These cameras are perfectly clear and allow us to see outside as clearly as through a real window! If the image I uploaded here looks fuzzy, it ain't these cameras! Unconditionally, I recommend this. P.S. - the image above is not from the kitchen - it was just a test to see the quality before placing the camera in its final place, ... show more

    • Excellent live view Quality, poor APP software.
Hi. The cameras live view quality is excellent. The screws to be used for placing the camera at a surface, are of poor quality: one got broken while it was half its way and most of them are rusty after the first rain. I suggest to purchase stainless steel screws for outside use. Will need now to replace all of them with exterior resistant screws. The DVR setup was easy. The online manual clears out any doubt about settings. The recording playbacks quality of the cameras are very bad. When using the only compatible Zosi system app it do not allows to control the speed playback into a slower or faster mode at mobile. The frames per second cannot be increased by DVR settings. Therefore a walking person looks like running or suddenly disappearing from screen loosing the capability to be used for incident analysis purposes while you are out of home. If it not were because of this sad app I will give it a 5 Star. I have asked Technical support if there a way to control the speed playbacks thru this or a later app upgrade and I am waiting their response. Update 3/28/2021 The playback problem is only limited to Android Mobile phones. The Zosi APP works excellent with Iphones. There is no gap between frames using an Iphone. Customer Service submitted the latest test results to ask their Tech Division to review the Zosi Smart APP for Android phones. The playback option at DVR Monitor have additional operations that helps to speed up any security incident investigation. Note of Caution: It seems that when a Refurnished Zosi System is purchased via Amazon, Zosi do not honor any hardware guarantee as sale do not display on Zosi records. Amazon only option is to receive back the complete System for a credit instead of a component replacement. ... show more

    • NVR KEEP RESETTING BY ITSELF. SOLVED!!

UPDATED!! 7/27/24 Seller contacted me and we are going back and forth for weeks tried to figure out why it keep ressetting by itself. A guy name LEONARD helped me alot. He replace the old NVR with a new one, and finally we fixed the prob after software update and few tricks that he told me to do, he is awesome, great customer service. Will buy again ! Five stars. Easy to installed and it work fine for a while But now the nvr keep resetting by itself, i unplugged everything and turn it on back, but the next day? It will reset by itself again. ... show more

    • Recording and app are terrible but Cameras themselves are great!
Cameras are great quality build. Video and audio quality is good. Programming and app are terrible. The app doesn’t now properly set up the motion sensing, cameras are often shown as disconnected when they are not, recording ends up as all the time or sporadic at best.
