Bought the 16 Camera version from Zosi. Set it up inside my business and everything was working great. Had a small issue with an update. Contacted Zosi for support. Louis contacted me back and helped me with the update on my system. Everything worked great again. One of my cameras eventually went offline for some reason, no big deal. Contacted Zosi for support again. Louis again helped me with the return on one of the cameras. Now everything is back to normal and working again. The phone app works great, but you will need fast internet to access the live video feeds. I would have to say, its not just about the product, but its mostly about the company that stands behind their product line. Great customer service from this company, and I would like to greatly thanks Louis for all the help and support. Because of this, you will have a customer for life! ... show more

    • Great camera, but streaming problems

PROS: 1) Great price 2) Excellent clarity of image from cameras CONS: 1) 4K image seen on monitor connected directly to NVR functions properly in real time, but image streaming on Computer on LAN or Iphone app has problems. If you try to view images from 4 cameras simultaneously on HD mode with your computer on LAN or Iphone, the images lags and sometimes freezes for a few seconds. AVSS computer program crashes frequently when trying to view in HD mode. This does not occur if you view the images in SD mode, but this defeats the purpose of buying a 4K camera system. 2) NVR software allows minimal user personalization. Can not adjust camera streaming parameters. Update: after replacing Zosi system with Reolink system, I have discovered that Reolink also has some lag when viewing in HD on LAN computer or Iphone. So I have to conclude that all systems can not stream HD images on LAN computer or Iphone that well. Both systems work well when viewing in HD from monitor directly connected to NVR and when view in SD on LAN computer or Iphone. Reolink does have better software that allows you to customize settings to your system and camera, and the PC program does not crash like the Zozi PC program. Zozi only has SD and HD options for viewing on LAN computer or Iphone, but Reolink has third option which is in between SD and HD. Overall I believe Zozi's camera is slightly sharper in HD, has less customization of software, but is cheaper than Reolink, and thus will add one star to my review. ... show more

I bought this system last year for an indoor security camera for my barber shop. The installation was very easy. Power over Ethernet cameras are as easy as plug-in-play. I have not used the recording box software very much but I like how it detect humans and outlines them in a green box. I have not used the mobile app but I plan to soon. The IR lights are plenty bright enough to illuminate the interior of my building at night, but I have not tried them outdoors so I cannot speak to the IR range. Last month I had two cameras fail for unknown reasons. The Zosi support representative, Slina, worked with me to perform some simple debugging and eventually replace the cameras under manufacture warranty. I was able to ship back the faulty cameras and receive replacements at no cost. EDIT: now that the manufacturer warrenty has expired, I have 6 non-working cameras. I have spent so much $ on Zosi cameras I should have bought another brand. Cameras seem to last for about 9 months before completely failing. Additionally, most cameras dop out during night when they switch to IR mode. I don't know if this is the casue of camera damage or not, but I will not e spending more time with this system.     • Great Camera System - Limited Settings Adjustments

Zosi customer support has always been great. I have spoke to Kaia, Slina and Ariana in the past and they have been wonderful. They made the process of getting the camera replaced easy. I'm glad to see that Zosi stands behind their products and have such great customer support. Thank you Kaia, Slina and Ariana you were wonderful. I have had other security camera systems in the past and wanted to upgrade to a 4K POE System and after searching around I found this one. It is the cheapest 4K POE system I could find and I am very happy with my purchase. The quality of the image is great. The only thing that I don't like about it is that you are limited on what settings you can change. The resolution, FPS, Max Bit Rate, or the Encode Bit Rate (which is set to VBR) can not be changed. I would have liked to change a couple of the cameras to a lower resolution (for disk space) and to be able to set a constant bit rate on the camera facing my driveway, especially for night time. But even with the limitations on the settings this is a great camera system. I'm just waiting for Zosi to come out with a 4K PTZ Camera that has an optical zoom that I can add to this system and I'll be set up fully. Hope they come out with one soon. ... show more
