Good system overall Installation was easy and pretty much plug-and-play, but there are also many different settings that can be changed if you like. I bought the system in April of 2022 but was unable to install it until November of that year. the system fired right up and worked great for the first 9 months, in July of 2023 I had 3 cameras fail, possibly due to the extreme Texas heat. I contacted Zosi Customer Service and got a response within a few hours from a very helpful person named Slina. technically I was out outside of the 1 year warranty but after explaining I hadn't installed the cameras right away and had only been in use for 9 months, they were willing to help. 3 new cameras arrived a few days later, I swapped them out and sent the old ones back. Thanks for your help Slina!

I bought an eight camera system about 4 years ago and decided to up grade to a sixteen camera system. After getting everything installed I had two cameras that would continually turn on and off. I hooked one of the cameras that was working correctly to every port on the NVR to make sure the NVR wasn’t the issue. Then I hooked the working camera to every wire to assure the wiring wasn’t the issue. I then hooked both faulty cameras to multiple ports resetting the system each time I even plugged both faulty cameras in with a power cord just in case there was a POE issue. Unfortunately nothing has been done with my claim to resolve the faulty cameras issue.

These cameras do the job and I can access the cameras on my phone, making them even better when I am away from home. I had to go through the video to find a suspicious car that appeared to be stalking our house and it was easy to pull up the video and save it. After about 4 months, one of the cameras on the weathered side of our house, developed some condensation on the inside of the lens. I contacted Zosi and Louis was extremely helpful and provided a label to ship the camera back to Zosi and then sent me another one. I was very happy and impressed with the customer service, very rare these days!!!

Simple installation and great customer service. The power cable got too hot and started to melt and received a replacement power cable in a reasonable time with no hassle.

The plug and play is very straight forward. Very easy to get started. I have noticed two issues that are not stated or possibly not supposed to be happening. 1) I can NOT get the cameras to record in 30 fps. The system is capable of 8MP but all the cameras that come with this order are 5MP. The company has yet been able to tell me if this is a camera limitation or something is wrong with the system. Supposedly I am supposed to be able to change my default 15fps to 30 fps but it just doesn't do it. 2) The DVR is making a constant super high pitch squeal that is annoying. Its not very load but if you have to spend time near this thing it is going to bother you. I'm serious. Its painfully high pitch. I have been chasing for solutions to this for a couple of days since its been delivered. Customer service responded with a cut and paste "common issue" email that didn't respond to my "direct" and "specific" questions/concerns. If I could buy ONE camera that does 8MP 4K 30fps (or better) that works with this system I will keep it, BUT... I literally cant find one. It says it is specific to only use its own cameras. So its a decent system but it doesn't seem to have the ability to upgrade if you want to. To my understanding the only upgrade you can do to this system is add more cameras and increase the hard drive space.

I have bought 3 systems from Zosi, wire with 4, 8, and 16 channels. They are all good . Smooth video and clear images. Their hard drive is also good. I have not experienced any failure of cameras or hard drive. The only small issue is the adapter. They may fail after awhile using it. However, I contact them for the warranty, they repsond in good manner. An agent name, Rainbow, initiate the replacement for me and send other adapters for back up as well. They have a good customer service on warranty.

Do not buy! I have installed many camera systems over the years, and wanted a PoE system. I hooked everything up in the living room before running cables throughout the house. The live feed on the TV through HDMI was fine, but the “live” feed through the app was terrible. Slow, laggy, pretty much worthless for viewing the cameras in real time. This was a problem because that is how I check on the house 99% of the time. I attempted to get ahold of customer service for 3 days, to no avail. Customer service is non existent, also based in China, so they would answer emails at 2am. For a simple problem, there was absolutely no effort to help. Do not waste your time and money on this system!!!
