This lamp is very nice, works just fine, and is great for reading. I purchased others where the goose neck was way too long and the lamp was too heavy and way too bright. One of them was so bright, I had to turn it towards the ceiling, then I couldn't see to read. This one lets you adjust the width of the light beam solving the issue. It's a hard task to get the strength of the clamp, length of the goose neck, and weight of the lamp correct. You may have to hold the clamp to adjust the goose neck for moving the lamp more than a few inches. I assure you that the clamp is really strong. The control unit works as described. It is a good lamp, and I cannot understand why some people complained about what I just described. ... show more

    • Great for night time reading!
My husband always falls asleep before I do and of course when you’re in the middle of a really good book no one wants to stop to turn off the light for their partner…selfishly I guess. I got this in the hopes that it would allow me to still read and him to sleep peacefully. AND IT DOES. Not only does it have different light settings but it dims and swivels. Fits perfectly on the headboard. Only thing I wish was different is the clip. It sticks out a lot causing us to move the headboard away from the wall and risking stuff falling behind the bed. But it’s a small complaint for the pleasure of reading my book and not disturbing my husband at the same time! I would recommend! ... show more

This lamp is very nice, does exactly what I want it to. It’s bright, adjustable, can be focused. 4 star because the neck is a little unstable. Kinda droops a little.

Purchased for my wife to use while reading in bed. She used to use the light on her phone but it was awkward to hold while reading a book and would wake up the kids if they were sleeping next to her. This light is easiest to use and the lowest setting is just bright enough.

Brightness is very good, but not incredible. Flexible stem is solid enough that light does not move by itself. Bought two of these. One of which I used for 2 months now. Seem like a solid product.

Pretty much useless - dim even for 2W LED. The switch is nice. The lens is nice too - made to diffuse the light for more uniform illumination.

It's small enough to not be in the way. The neck can be moved in all different directions. The light can be a spotlight or go out to cover more space. Perfect for reading in bed. Th clamp is very strong and stays put.
