I bought this for my kindergarten class hoping that they would be wood. When I got them I realized that they were FOAM. I would not have spent this much money if it was foam. The counters were hard to pull out and put in and the foam was very flimsy. I would not buy any more, the only thing that I like about them is that they have double-sided counters which are great for addition when making 10. I’m glad I ignored the reviews bc this product is literally what it’s described to be. It’s exactly what I anticipated & wanted/needed. Maybe people overlook the word FOAM in the TITLE of the product & are disappointed bc they expected wood??     • Much uglier in person
These were requested by my kid's teacher- they looked wooden and nice. After they came, I had to double check the description because they are foam, which is mentioned I guess in the product name but there are like 22 words in the product name (dazzle effect?) so I guess I just missed it. The foam print is hideous though- they don't even look remotely wooden and have a bright blue visible backing. I hope she's not disappointed. I wouldn't have chosen them myself had I known what they actually look like. It's probably worth looking for some that are real wood. ... show more

This is thus far the best item I have used for counting. I am a teacher and mom of an 18month old and this is the only item my son understood when counting. We tried counting pasta, Lego's and styrofoam numbers, but these 10 frames are the only things that helped him visually understand counting. We used it for two days. Considering it’s phone, seems like a solid set. Unfortunately the phone pegs fit so tightly That it takes too much effort to put in and remove the pegs. Not easily manipulated enough to be of use with worksheets

I was looking for 10 frames to join end to end. That's what shows in the picture. However, the ones that arrived do not. They can attach under each other. I will still use them with my class, but I was disappointed since they were not what was shown...
