Poorly designed, but does actually freeze things
Color: Green
The technology works -- almost too well. But the cup is poorly designed. They put appearance over function. In order to make it look as if it holds more than it does, they made it a tall, narrow cone. When the liquid goes in, it instantly begins to form a very solid layer in the bottom and on the sides. The little plastic scraper isn't even close to sturdy enough to scrape it off. A butter knife works a bit better. There's no way to scrape it from the sides quickly enough to prevent the build up. It requires constant, forceful scraping, and the narrow cone shape means you can't scrape the bottom. Worse -- every scrape results in the liquid splashing upward out of the glass like a geyser. It holds 7 ounces, but a good deal of it is wasted because it freezes so thickly that there's no getting it out, not to mention the amount hat ends up on the counter and on your shirt. I end up with about 3 ounces of drinkable slush. It's a little better if you add the liquid in small amounts, so that the incoming warm liquid helps to keep it from forming a thick layer so quickly. Now, having said that this cup is poorly designed, I would like to try their ice cream bowl, because the technology works well, and the bowl shape might prevent some of the issues. Since making slush in the cup is impractical, I tried putting yogurt in it, and this worked much better than the liquid. Still rather impractical since it's difficult to scrape it from the bottom of the tall, narrow glass without having yogurt-covered fingers, but the yogurt is too thick to splash and make a mess. It would have made a passable frozen yogurt if I hadn't given up with it half frozen because of the annoyances caused by the cone-shaped cup. So... definitely don't waste your money on this cup, but don't discount the brand entirely. The technology works and the product is solidly constructed. if their product engineers stop putting form over function, they are going to put out some good products. Update: I have since made it work very successfully in 2 ways. 1. put very warm coffee in it at the start, and added more warm coffee periodically. 2. Put fruit juice in it when it had not been in the freezer for the recommended length of time. So it basically gets too cold to function and needs to either not be frozen all the way or you need to use warm liquid to prevent it freezing too fast. For this reason I have upgraded to 4 stars. ... show more

Perfect Coke Slush
Color: Jumbo Blue
I love using this with Coke Zero for what feels like a dessert. I also use with flavored water for a delicious slushy. It works well and is simple enough for anyone. Cons would be, not dishwasher safe, have to freeze for 12-18 hours between uses, if you don’t keep stirring it can freeze up pretty quick and become a ice chunk of your beverage. I’ve found depending upon the beverage, some will make better slushy then others and they happen at different amounts of time. My kids are already asking for their own. ... show more

Leaking after a few uses
Color: Jumbo Red
Bought in October for my two boys for Christmas. After about a week of use of one of them we started noticing a crystalizing substance on the exterior cup that increased over the next few uses and then obvious leak from the bottom. Now past return period on Amazon since I purchased in October, but not used until after Christmas. Working with company for replacement. ... show more

It takes a few tries to get the hang of it
Color: Blue
I had to try a few different things to make it work best for me - and each different type of liquid will act a bit differently. I like a milkshake texture; the instructions only mention to scrape the sides every minute, but the bottom will freeze solid if you don't stir that. So - Stir up from the base of the liquid, and scrape the sides every minute or so. Once the consistency is right, to keep it from freezing too hard I often pour the contents into a different cup to enjoy; if it gets a bit runny, I can always pour is back into the freezing cup. This way I can take my time to enjoy my shakes. ... show more

Will be ordering more of these!!!
Color: Jumbo Blue
I bought this freezey cup for my son, because he's obsessed with frozen drinks, and I was sick of opening my freezer to see several cups full of soda pop that he was freezing to make slushies. The soda would spill and make such a mess. With this cup you just freeze the inside cup only with no liquid in it for a few hours, and then you take it out of the freezer, add the liquid, stir every couple of minutes until it's the perfect slushy consistency! It's not watery shush either, it really freezes the liquid good, but not completely solid just to the perfect snow cone consistency! The only problem is now he wants a few more to change them out constantly lol. So I'll definitely be ordering a few more! It's one of the best Christmas gifts I bought this year, and I highly recommend it! ... show more

Product ok, but box was smashed due to shipping in flimsy envelope.
Color: Red/Blue
The product was fine, but the box the cups came in was not in good shape. This was for a gift, so I'm very disappointed.

Amazing!!!
Color: Green
I love this! I make slushes, and soft serve ice cream in it! You can use chocolate milk, for ice cream! You can use sugar, milk, and vanilla extract for vanilla ice cream. So delicious! Don't give up after the first few minutes! Just keep stirring, and scraping down the sides, and all of a sudden you have a thick slush, or soft serve ice cream! Add some fruit! Yum! I made one with coffee and cream. It was in between ice cream, and a slush. So good! I love it!!! ... show more

Busted after a month *but excellent customer service
Color: Green/Orange
Review Image by A. Dolgov A. Dolgov
Split in the freezer and leaked out after a month. Orange one was starting to split so stopped using. Followed all instructions on how to orient cups in the freezer correctly. Too bad. So pricey for a month of use. Too late to get money back.... Used to be able to get better ones at the dollar store. Update: the company contacted me and refunded even past the window for return. Excellent customer service which is reflected in my rating. They did make great slushies until the plastic failed, hopefully design team can fix that in newer products. ... show more
