The media could not be loaded. This is perfect for medium to large rooms that may not get enough light. The fixture itself does not hang so you don't have to worry about judging distance between the ceiling and an object on the floor or a person of significant height. Putting this together was actually a very simple and straightforward process. If you're familiar with how a lot of standing lamps work with their interconnected sections, its very much the same idea. The rods and sphere are pre-wired, and you just need to slot everything together and tighten it down. This light was very easy to put together, and seamless to put up - replacing an old ceiling light I had. I love the whole mid-century modern look to it, and it adds real pizzazz to my dining room. I opted for amber colored Edison bulbs, and those really set it off and are a perfect pair. You may need to get a second set of hands to hold it up while you do the rewiring, but overall it is pretty simple and it’s not too heavy. Absolutely beautiful light! ... show more

This is a very cute light. Its made very well also. And though there are approximated measurements in the description, the photos make it appear much larger in a room than it actually is. It’s not something that would be a dealbreaker for me mind you, it’s still cute and a nice quality product, it’s just smaller than I would’ve thought having looked at the pictures.
