Wow, these arrived in a day. Very solid, heavy steel. I cant imagine these punches ever cracking, bending or chipping. The cut design on each (20) is precise, with beveled edges for added sharp punching. What a great buy.

Quality was not great, edges weren’t very sharp and had a hard time cutting through and were not really clean or even. Shapes were a bit off too. And this set was missing the hexagon shaped one, which was the main one I ordered this for. Contacted the seller and they weren’t able to resolve it and get a hexagon one sent so I ended up returning them.

Used on a thin (size 1-2oz) leather for a belt inlay. Did well. Recommend washing thoroughly with dish soap and water to remove manufacturing oil (used to stop rusting). After 15-20 punches from a single shape, I sharpened the edges as they started getting dull. Punches continued to work well afterwards.

Wish the holes and shapes were bigger. The punch quality is not there either. It is not that precise or clear. Very hard to tell as the sizing is quite small. The only thing I like is that this kit came with a variety of shapes options, but like I mentioned earlier. It would have been even better if the quality of the punch showed the shapes.

Love the assorted shapes,..... just wish I had gotten the slightly larger ones. Would Love to see more punches in a variety of flower-shapes (as the flower shapes in this bunch are the main reason for my purchase)

The ends aren’t sharpened correctly. They have rough edges that catch and pull the leather when you are removing the punch. Even after trying to use beeswax the result was the same. Having to slam it with a two pound maul to get it thru 5-6 ounce leather is completely unacceptable. The punching ends have been heated and formed by clamping them in a vise. They aren’t cleaned up at all. Lots of black scale left behind. Take it from a 30 year professional leather worker, these suck.

I didn't expect a ton from these, but I did expect them to be symmetrical. Sadly they're not. Some are, I'd say it's about 50/50 in the set I received. Example of non-symmetry... the asterix punch, one lobe is significantly smaller than the others... on one of the triangle punches, one side is slightly shorter than the others (but not so much you would think it was not intended to be a equilateral triangle), etc. They're also COMPLETELY covered in carbon residue / soot. Like, needs a bath in solvent covered ... no rag or paper towel is going to fix this covered... I bought them looking for some fancy ways to dress up the billets on straps, but most of them I'd be ashamed to use.
