We’ve had ours (16 inch Cal King) for 5 years and it’s still holding up great. No issues at all. For the price, it’s an incredible value. Favorite things about it: - Space for under bed storage. The 16 inch height option fits the big black/yellow totes from Costco underneath (have to lift up the sides a little when sliding in, but they fit under the slats). - gives you the nice spring of a box frame without the box. I spent a lot of time researching different bed supports and poring over reviews before settling on this one, and it seems that I made the right choice. Five years ago, my husband and I purchased a very nice wooden four-poster bed, but unfortunately it has not held up well under the weight of our very heavy queen-size memory foam mattress. The bed design attempted to support our mattress (and us) with just a single center leg on each of three flimsy metal slats. The whole bed creaked horribly and the side rails had begun to bend and bow. I bought this product with the idea that I could seat it inside my wooden bed frame, without actually being attached to it, to support the mattress so that the wooden frame would no longer have to take the weight and could basically be decorative, and it worked beautifully. My biggest worry when buying this product was that the measurements wouldn’t be exact. This steel frame measures exactly 80 x 60, which was perfect because I only had about an inch of extra wiggle room within my wooden bedtime to fit it. Assembly was quite easy. I actually partially assembled it in the living room where I had room to work, so that I could measure the finished dimensions and confirm that it would fit inside my bed. Once I knew it would, my husband and I were able to fold it up enough to fit down the hall and into the bedroom, before unfolding it in place and adding the center support and slats. It was incredibly simple. Removing the existing flimsy metal slats from my old bed took longer than assembling this new one. I’ve seen some reviews claim that the center leg is too short. When you first unfold and place the center support it sort of seems like the center leg is a little shorter than the others, but once you put even a tiny bit of weight on the center support, it pushes down into its proper position. I also have not noticed our mattress sagging down between the slats at all, even with my husband laying in the bed, I can look underneath and nothing looks strained by the weight. As for marital activities, the bedframe has held up and there is NO squeaking. We have hardwood floors and it does move along the floor (basically bounces around in the one inch or so of extra space it has within the wooden frame surrounding it, which does not move). Without sometime in the way to stop it from moving however, I could potentially see this bed walking its way across a smooth floor. Placing the bed on top of carpet, an area rug, or putting some kind of rubber (such as shelf liner or similar) under the nine legs would probably help with that though. Overall, this bed support was a great purchase and well worth the price!

Came to my house packaged well. Everything was in the box & everything fit, no defects or broken parts (small issue w/ the included wrench). However, this took way longer then I thought to put together. Definitely a 2 person operation. I wouldn't have been able to do it with my daughters help. I would have been better off if someone told me "Yeah, toss the instructions off to the side. Just use common sense and you'll get it. The instructions are confusing." I kept grabbing a piece to bolt on to another piece after looking at the picture, but then having to refer right back to the picture - which I did endlessly because it's not crystal clear and I wanted to make sure I was doing it the right way. Once I tossed the instructions off to the side it went together smoothly. The included wrench kind of held the nuts in place but once I started to crank down on the alllen wrench, the nuts spun within the regular wrench. So I had to get a pair of pliers to firmly lock down on the nut while I cranked the other end with the allen wrench. BTW the wrench included works but it's so tiny & hard to get any leverage. I used my own allen wrench's that have a thick, big handle on it which made it 10x easier. Tonight will be the first night my daughter sleeps on it. She's laying on her bed right now watching TV and just going off of that, there are no issues. I'll update this if anything fails. Overall, I recommend this product. The pics aren't how I would have taken the shots. I forgot to do it but my daughter captured the two pics that I included. Not sure how helpful they are. Almost forgot the main reason why I chose this model; I wanted her to have a bed where the mattress does not recess at all. I wanted this kind where the corners of the mattress are flush with the edges of the frame. I could slide the mattress right off if I had to without having to lift it up first to get it out of the recess. BTW - the mattress is brand new too which is an Olee Sleep Galaxy Hybrid 13 (full size). *** UPDATE *** So one week of my daughter having it and the frame is solid as a rock. The under bed storage is very helpful (the reason I got the 18" version). The combo of this frame along with the Olee Galaxy 13 hybrid mattress is amazing. I've been laying in there with her to watch some movies and the frame is rock solid. I'm so glad I went with this version (wood slats and the mattress goes right even with all the corners so no banged shins).

Seven months ago we purchased this bed frame. It was fairly easy to assemble and seemed sturdy. Last night, one of the middle legs on one side bend inwards with breakage at the top of the metal leg. Given that the product claims a 2500lb weight limit, and we haven’t come close to putting that much stress on it, this was unexpected and very disappointing. This bed frame is not noise free. It definitely creaks. In addition we noticed some warping of the wood slats. I cannot recommend this product.

Great a friend put it together. It took several screws to put it together , but I have put things together but my health kept me for moving from corner to corner on floor. But I would this very one if I needed a larger one instead of the full I would always buy this same bed frame. I also likes that I could adjust it for height or lower.Got a lot of items under bed for storage. Yes I would recommend this frame, size was perfect 🤣😇
